1965 Mustang 2+2 Fastback Restoration (oct.13 1964)
Restoration of Jody's first car. He bought it when he was 14 from the original owner. We restored it to original except the side mirrors and shift knob which the car had when he bought it all those years ago. This is an A code, 289 4 barrel, 4spd, Disc brake, A.C. from the factory, a GT package before they called it a GT. Built Oct 13 1964, fastbacks did not start production until Sept 64.

1968 Ford Mustang This is a beautiful car that will catch the eye of all lookers, it is a stunning red. This car has very nice paint There has been some rust repair on the right rear quarter panel, it was done right and looks great. The doors have new hinges and hang great. It has the Pony interior White & Red. All trim and chrome has been replaced and it has LED brake/tail lights and front turn signals. I completely rebuild the heater box and all the cables work smooth. The tires are in excellent shape and the Cragers are pristene. It has power drum-drum brakes and stops great. The C4 transmission is fresh with a shift kit. The special part is the GT40 crate engine from the Ford Racing catalog. It is an aluminum head roller motor which is balanced and blue printed at the factory. On top of the engine is a 4 Weber manifold by Inglese. It is tuned perfectly and starts perfectly and idles easily at 500 rpm. It gets 18 mpg and will cruise at a hundred all day. It has a 390 radiator and electric fans and runs very cool, it is a great parade car. This car is very streetable and will run on 84 gas. We drove the 2008 Power Tour plus extra logging over 3300 miles in two weeks with no trouble at all. This is a great looking and performing car. Please ask lots of questions. Here are the specks for the engine. You can look on the Comp Cams web site or the Englese site for specs on the induction system. This is a one of a kind Mustang get it while it last. There is a very small tach built into the dash where the clock was, real trick. The car has a complete MSD ignition system that is new. It has ceramic shorty headers with a complete stainless steel Magna Flow Exhaust system with formed X pipe and polished mufflers. The car has a rich tone that is not overpowering. I think one of the pictures shows speakers in the door panels. I replaced the door panels and eliminated the speakers, it looks much better.
