This is me aboard the mighty 2007 Suzuki Hayabusa... The bike is 100% stock apart from twin Yoshi mufflers. I am doing approx. 185 MPH when I pass the camera, and immediately let off the throttle. This was at the top of 5th gear..... and yes, 'Busa's have a 6th gear but there isnt a need for it with the stock 186 MPH speed limiter. Pretty quick if i do say so myself... Please no stupid and far too common "thats not 186 MPH".... you can clearly hear i am in 5th gear, look it up before you post something stupid...
186 MPH Superbike Madness aka MotoGP On A Public Highway
Superbike racing is a category of motorcycle racing that employs modified
production motorcycles. Superbike World Championship is the international
superbike championship, and national superbike championships are held in
many countries as well, including the United Kingdom, the United States,
Japan, and Canada. Superbike racing is very popular with manufacturers,
since it helps promote and sell their product, as captured by the slogan
"Win on Sunday; Sell on Monday".
Hayabusa & CBR High Speed Run
Just finished a 3 day bike trip and found this nice stretch of road back in
the woods with no traffic. Busa reached 290km/h with a couple grand left
on the tach, red CBR hit 240-250 kmh (gear ratio changed, listen to the rev
limiter :-) ).
278.6mph, 448.36km/h, Worlds Fastest Turbo Charged Hayabusa Streetbike. On-board Video
At the Texas Mile, October 2010, Bill Warner of Wild Bros Racing goes 278.6
mph in a standing start mile, on a 650rwhp turbo charged Suzuki Hayabusa Streetbike. On board
video taken facing rearward using an AiM Sports SmartyCam with in-video
display of GPS speed. (sample rate of the in camera GPS does not allow
recording of the top speed that was set in the timing traps)
Turbo Busa 200 MPH Flyby Suzuki Hayabusa Passes
http://www.FullTiltLife.com and Kings of the Street share a clip showing a
500HP Stage 3 Velocity turbo Hayabusa
doing solo passes at GPS speeds exceeding 200 miles per hour. It is amazing
feeling the bike tear past and listening to the shriek of the motor as it
eats up the pavement. The air simply rips apart sounding like a giant strip
of Velcro being torn asunder. Had this bike been geared up for the
occasion, it could have easily hit speeds OVER 250mph. As it was, it ran
out of gear at about 205mph. Never seen anything get to that speed as
quickly, however even with the ferocious wheelspin.

Yes, I know it might be boring, but this will let you hear how the bike
sounds from ALL different angles.. but just a rev, or single headon flyby.
NO power commander.. but i upped the fuel by 2% at idle, 5% at 5k rpm, and
10% at WOT.
bike is lowered and has street bike sounds speakers on it
and yes, I do miss 2nd gear on the second flyby, i know :)

R1 goes 190mph, and Suzuki Hayabusa passed
(Yamaha) R1 went 190mph(305kmh) and Busa (Suzuki GSX-R 1300 Hayabusa)
for all of you who dont think r1 was going around 300(190) look at this
video clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ty-7bTId5M and pay attention
on how quick it passes next to objects and cars, i have used stopwatch and
fund that it takes about 0.30-0.40 of a second to pass a car
this is not turbo busa i edited tittle
so its ok now...
