http://www.autobytel.com/nissan/370z/2012/?id=32972 The Nissan Z Car has been around since the early 1970's under the Datsun name. For year the Z has been one of the most beloved affordable sports cars both here in the United States and in Japan as well. The 2012 Nissan 370Z is considered the Mustang of Japan since the drive train configuration, price, and body style is similar to that of many American muscle cars. The 2012 Nissan 370Z has a base price of $31,910 with the top of the line Touring Roadster costing over $44,000.
The 2012 Nissan 370Z is powered by one of the best engines every produced by Nissan. The VQ37VHR is a 3.7 liter V-6 engine with Variable Valve Timing that produces 332 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque. A 6-speed manual or 7-speed automatic transmission puts the power down to the rear wheels. The 2012 Nissan 370Z can achieve up to 19 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway.
The 370Z is considered to be the little brother of the mighty Nissan GT-R. It is smaller, costs less, and does not have as much power. That being said the 2012 Nissan 370Z does benefit from having the GT-R as an older brother in that some of the high end technology and options have been passed down to the 370Z. The first thing you notice are the huge 19-inch RAYS sport rims. These forged alloy wheels are not only strong but they are also lightweight. The 370Z also sports a sleek body with functional spoilers both front and rear. In the performance department the 2012 Nissan 370Z has a viscous limited-slip differential which makes sure power is transferred to the wheel that needs it the most. Also the Nissan 370Z features a SynchroRev Match system which automatically blips the throttle to promote faster and smoother shifting between gears.
The 2012 Nissan 370Z is an excellent sports car. It may be a little rough around the edges and a little on the pricey side, but if you want a true Japanese sports car with over 300 horsepower and rear-wheel drive, then the 370Z is an excellent choice.

2014 Nissan 370Z Touring Roadster Test Drive Video Review
Since 1969 the Z-Car brand has been entertaining the world. It started with
the 240Z which made big waves all over the world. Over the decades the
Z-Car evolved into 300ZX until sports cars died out in the late 1990's. But
Nissan revived the Z-Brand in 2002 with the 350Z and now we have the 370Z.
So does this 2014 Nissan 370Z which has been around for a few years still
elicit a response or has the car become stale?
Research the 2014 Nissan 370X
One of the great things style-wise about the 370Z is that Nissan took a
page from the 240Z out back but up front the car is much more modern. For
2014 there are now LED daytime running lights integrated into the front
bumper. This roadster model tested here looks great with the top down, the
red paint, and the big wheels.
Gone are the days of the glorious carbureted inline 6-cylinder engines;
instead we now have a V-6 with tons of technology. This engine is a 3.7
liter that makes 332 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of
torque. The transmission choices are a 7-speed automatic or a 6-speed
manual with REV Matching downshift. Fuel economy for the convertible is 18
MPG in the city and 25 MPG on the highway. But by far the best point is the
sound the dual Exhaust makes.
The cabin is very driver focused as you would expect from a sports car: the
seats are bolstered, the gauge cluster is great, and the steering wheel has
paddle shifters. The 2014 Nissan 370Z is a sports car without question. It
has everything you would expect: front engine, 2-doors, and RWD. The brakes
are excellent and the feel is immediate. The steering is tight and direct.
Base price starts at just under $30k.

2013 Subaru BRZ Test Drive & Sports Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/subaru/brz/2013/?id=32972 The 2013 Subaru BRZ,
along with its twin brother, have been named to Autobytel's Car of the Year
List. The BRZ is the first rear wheel drive sports car that Subaru has
developed in over 50 years. The BRZ is all about balance and handling. The
Boxer engine has a flat design and allows for the center of gravity to be
lower in this car. The 2013 Subaru BRZ is a real driver's car and with a
base price of $25,494 that is well within reach of most enthusiasts.
Take a car that has RWD, a manual transmission, and the engine up front;
add those things together and you have a recipe for an exciting sports car.
Toyota and Subaru have joined forces to produce such a vehicle. We have
already tested the Scion FR-S now let's take a look at what makes the 2013
Subaru BRZ such and amazing car. From afar the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ
look almost identical. But up close you will notice the front end differs a
bit between these 2 automobiles. The BRZ sports classic Subaru Blue Paint,
along with the diamond cut grille inserts in the bumper.
Under the hood the award winning FA20 engine is a horizontally opposed 2.0
liter flat-4 Boxer. This engine produces 200 horsepower and 151 lb-ft. of
torque. You can pick between a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.
Fuel economy is excellent at 25 MPG in the city and 34 MPG on the highway.
The 2013 Subaru BRZ differs most from the Scion FR-S when it comes to the
interior. The BRZ has a standard navigation screen and leather wrapped
steering wheel and shift knob. The BRZ has a cool push button start and
aviation style switches. The 2013 Subaru BRZ packs more standard features
and options than the Scion FR-S.
The Subaru BRZ is a pure driving car. It's a blast to take out on the road.
The 6-speed manual is near perfect with its show throws. The pedals are
perfectly placed for heel-tow downshifts. The brakes are responsive and the
steering is direct. This car is all about having fun.

2012 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Centennial Edition Test Drive & Sports Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/chevrolet/corvette/2012/?id=32972 100 years ago
Chevrolet was created. And to celebrate this centennial anniversary; Chevy
has released a Special Edition Vehicle to commemorate this milestone. The
2012 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Centennial Edition is one mean looking sports
car that is sure to become a collector's item. The Corvette Z06 has a base
price of $75,600 and the Centennial Special Edition Package adds $4950 to
that total. The vehicle tested here also benefits from the Z06 Ultimate
Performance Package which adds another $7500 onto the base price.
The Corvette Centennial Special Edition features a cool appearance package
along with special edition wheels and a Magnetic Selective Ride Control
suspension. The first thing you notice on the exterior of the Corvette
Centennial is the sexy Carbon Flash Metallic paint job. The Satin Black
rims come with a great red accent stripe and are sized 19-inches up front
and 20-inches in the rear. The tires are high-performance Michelin PS CUP
Z-Rated tires. These bad boys measure 335/25ZR20 in the rear which provides
a huge contact patch. The Magnetic Selective Ride Control Suspension comes
equipped with a set of shocks that are filled with a magnetically active
fluid that changes in viscosity to provide a firm or softer ride depending
on the driving situation. Another great addition to the 2012 Chevy Corvette
Centennial Z06 Special Edition is the massive Brembo Carbon Ceramic Brakes
that come with Special Edition pained Calipers.
The 2012 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Centennial is powered by a huge 7.0 liter
(427 cubic inch) V-8 engine that produces 505 horsepower and 470 lb-ft. of
torque. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through an awesome 6-speed
manual transmission. Fuel economy is not bad considering the power. The
Corvette Z06 manages 15 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway. The Z06
engine is at home on the track and with the upgraded Centennial Package, a
high-performance cooling system is added. The Corvette Z06 also has a top
speed of 198 MPH.
On the inside the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Centennial is both sporty yet
comfortable. The seats are very supportive and feature nice suede inserts.
Both the shift knob and the steering wheel are covered in suede. The
Corvette is known for having one of the most futuristic heads-up display
found on any vehicle. This driver focused unit displays vehicle speed,
RPM's, lateral G-Force, and the engine oil temperature. There is a Bose
sound system, Bluetooth, and Satellite Radio offered on the Corvette Z06.

2014 Nissan GT-R R35 Premium Test Drive & Sports Car Video Review
Oh Godzilla how we love you so! And now Autobytel finally gets to test
drive this beast. The 2014 Nissan GT-R is easily one of the fastest
production cars on the planet only eclipsed by the super high end exotics
that cost hundreds of thousands of dollars. For the money though, the GT-R
is a bargain considering you get 545 horsepower for only $99,590.
Sure there are cars more powerful costing less, but can they run 0-60 MPH
in less than 3.0 seconds?
Most people do not consider the 2014 Nissan GT-R a very pretty car. In fact
many may argue that the GT-R is one of the least sexy sports cars on the
road. That's fine because the GT-R's designers are more concerned with
function over form. Everything you see on this car, every crease, every
duct, every line; is designed to make the Nissan GT-R faster. Up front the design is maximized to
make the air flow faster. There
are ducts in the hood to provide fresh air, the headlights are flush and
extend a ways back, and the ridges in the bumper all move air in a specific
way. On the side there is a unique cut that coupled with the mirrors and
roof tunnel air to the back of the car through the spoiler. The 2014 Nissan
GT-R is all about science hitting the road.
There are a few cars in this planet that exists solely to scramble the gray
matter inside you head. The 2014 Nissan GT-R is one of those cars and it
might just be the most approachable high performance sports car of the
entire group costing under $100k. This car does things that cars costing
far more can do, and it does it with a small 3.8 liter twin turbo V-6. Most of the time when you pop the hood
on a modern sports car, the motor is hidden behind a bunch of plastic
dress-up pieces, but on the GT-R the VR38DETT is right there in all its
glory. This beautiful work of art was hand built in Japan. The engine
produces 545 horsepower and 463 lb-ft. of
torque. Power is sent through a dual-clutch 6-speed automatic transmission
with paddle shifters. The ATTESA E-TS is and AWD system works with Nissan's
Vehicle Dynamics Control to help with handling and torque split.
On the inside the 2014 Nissan GT-R Premium is incredibly comfortable. The
seats are heated and come with contrasting suede inserts. The BOSE Audio
system consists of 11 speakers with 2 of them being mounted between the
rear passenger seats. The trim features a nice helping of carbon fiber and
brushed aluminum pieces which give the interior of the GT-R a modern sporty
feel. Once you are in the car and have a comfortable driving position its
time to play with all the gadgets. The information screen on the center
stack is fully customizable allowing the driver to monitor a whole bevy of
Once you are finally driving the 2014 Nissan GT-R, you realize this sports
car is something special. The power and pull is amazing and Nissan claims
0-60 MPH happens in 2.6 seconds with the ΒΌ flying by in 10.6 seconds which
is Bugatti Veyron and
Lamborghini Aventador territory. The GT-R is not only wildly fast, but it
handles amazingly wells, and stops super aggressively thanks to the carbon
ceramic brakes. If you want the most bang for your buck period, the Nissan
GT-R is the obvious choice.

The Nissan 370Z is a performance bargain, but its heavyweight controls
won't be to everyone's tastes. The rear-wheel-drive Nissan 370Z outguns
rivals like the Porsche Cayman and Audi TT with impressive performance for
the price. It's powered by a 322bhp 3.7-litre V6, and manages 0-62mph in
5.3 seconds -- so its performance comfortably matches its extrovert looks.
A driving enthusiasts' car, the 370Z demands skill and commitment, yet it's
not so brawny that it's a difficult or intimidating car to drive. Recently
updated with a 'GT' special edition that got a range of updates designed to
make it more comfortable and refined, with revised suspension and more kit.

370Z Driving with the Ferrari's.
While sound asleep at 8 AM, I got a call that in 12 minutes, twenty
Ferraris were heading to the top of the mountain then to Stinson Beach.
Although I'd stayed up till 3 AM, I decided I 'd get dressed and drive
along for half an hour. I still need to go to work at 11 AM. I catch a few
in the group, and while they pull off to look at their directions I assure
them I know the way. They follow. Well, apparently my info was not perfect
but I had a blast. Sorry for the bad info to you Ferrari guys. At least it
was a good drive, not like I placed you in stop and go freeway traffic.
