1985 Saab 900 SPG - Megasquirt 2 Extra Rev Limiter
Testing the spark cut Rev Limiter in Megasquirt 2 Extra on my 1985 Saab 900 SPG. The rev limiter was set to 5000rpm which was too low and I was hitting it too easily. I have since raised it to 6000 rpm which is much better. The day after I made this video my transmission exploded. 3rd gear sheered off because of pinion bearing failure. Just before the video ends when I release the clutch with the gearbox in neutral you can hear the pinion bearing grinding.

Full saab orginal airflow-kit, 17" ACE SPA rims, 3" home-built twinpipe Exhaust Contact me if u wonder anything about it :) Engine spec: 2.3 head, 2.1 inlet manifold, 86-88 turbo cams, 3" full flow Exhaust system from turbo and back without cat, open air filter, 900x600x70mm Intercooler, 2.5" Intercooler pipes, speedparts tuning chip, no APC Boost controlled manually. About 1.1 bar Boost.
