Junkyard Cars 4. The cars in the first junkyard were very hard to find and are not for sale (I wasn't even supposed to be in the lot: No Trespassing). The other ones may be but they are in no great shape for fixing up anyway... BTW: First lot located in Bettendorf, IA. and last lot located in Rock Island, Il.

These cars were well hidden; It was the silos that caught my eye. Strange to find a lot like this with no "NO TRESPASSING" signs or fences. Anyway, the cars don't exactly look salvagable, but they're cool to see. Idk if they're for sale or not but i just went out to this place again recently and the convertible, the white primered car, and the black 55 chevy (3:50-4:05) are all gone- so maybe they were sold?

Junkyard 71 Ford Custom Start attempt
Well all can say this about the most fun I ever had up in Wisconsin. I ended up frying the starter and didn't have enough time to find second one and swap it in before the sun set. Never got one pop out of it. Hopefully it will still be there next time I go up.

Lee Hartung Museum Collection
Lee Hartung's estate will have an auction by Auctions America by RM on Nov. 3-5, 2011 in Glenview, IL. Lee was a legendary collector and the collection has rare automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, police badges, toys, clocks...anything you can imagine to collect will be there!
