Budget Built Turbo Maverick Sleeper GoPro
Josh Dillon's turbo big block Maverick
making a pass at Brainerd Optimist Drag Strip in Ringgold, Georgia. Car has
a 460ci big block Ford with stock crank, H beam rods, forged pistons, stock
head castings and valve size, blow through carb, Borg Warner S475 turbo. This pass is on 18 pounds on 93 octane pump
gas with a safe tune. Track conditions were poor as you can tell by the
squirrelly ride. I think this pass was a 7.0X at around 100 miles per hour.
Other details about the car: C6 transmission, Dacco torque converter (way
too loose), 3.00 gear, stock 8 inch rear end, stock axles, mini spool,
26x8.5-15 tires, original leaf springs, stock shocks, slapper bars.

this is the first time it has been started with the turbo it did good it is a totally stock 74 truck
460 only mods are ported exh. side of the heads and a .500 lift summit cam
and arp rod bolts it has a 2 barrel on it just to start it , it will soon
have a 800 holley , just to help some of you guys out the manifolds will
not work upside down the ports are offset between the bolts i will have to
make headers soon for it to perform

but several hits at 12 pounds of Boost car is a 73 grabber with Mustang 2 frontend, 466 big block

this is me making a test pass against a coupe Mustang at dft 2014 at brainerd ga my
car was on 14psi Boost with 35*
timing base pulling .5:1 timing per psi Boost 14 psi in tires 28x9 slicks on 110 gas
2500 rpm launch footbrake no Boost
on lauch converter too tight had to lift when Boost came in I ran 1.88 60 ft firstname.lastname@example.org ran
a best of 6.9 @ 104 on pump gas this night other car in video I believe is
a sbf with heads and Nitrous but could
be wrong he ran 1.83 60ft email@example.com my car has a mild stock head crank and
block 460 with mostly stock c6 and stock 8 inch with 300 gears and mini
spool 3400 pounds street car with s475 turbo stock leaf spring slapper bars

1973 Maverick Grabber 332 Stroker first test drive
This is the first test drive of an 8 month build. It's a very clean 1973
Maverick Grabber that has been converted to a top loader 4 speed. The
engine is a 332 Scat Stroker, with Dart Aluminum heads, roller cam, MSD,
etc. During the build we also installed an SSBC 4 wheel disc brake
conversion. My wife was trying to film the "maiden voyage" and the
camcorder batteries went dead. She was relegated to the front porch using
the AC adapter. We will get it out on the road for more footage soon....
