2014 Nissan GT-R Track Pack vs 2014 Audi R8 V-10 Plus! - Head 2 Head Episode 33
On this episode of Head 2 Head, Motor Trend's Carlos Lago pits the 2014 Nissan GT-R Track Pack against the 2014 Audi R8 V-10 Plus. Performance wise, both these all-wheel drive monsters represent the cream of the crop from their respective manufacturers. Nissan's GT-R comes out of the gate swinging with it's track pack, but the R8 packs a twin-clutch transmission as well as more power than previous R8's. In between some dynamic testing & canyon carving, Randy Pobst weighs in with his two cents as he joins Carlos at the Streets of Willow racetrack. Does Audi's V-10 goliath have what it takes to topple the legendary "Godzilla"?

2014 Nissan GT-R vs. BMW M6 0-60 MPH Mile High Mashup Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2014 Nissan GT-R is perhaps the world's best supercar bargain and the flagship car for the Japanese Nissan brand. The BMW M6 is also a flagship for the BMW and represents the most power and technology the German Car maker can cram into a sports car. Both cars are very similar in many important ways. They both have two doors, two turbos and four seats. The both have dual clutch transmissions and they both both have superb engines that produce over 500 HP. But the while the M5 uses a roaring V8 the Nissan GT-R makes do with a hand-built six cylinder. So which of these monster machines is faster to 60 MPH and which one is the better car. Check out another fun and informative TFLcar video Mashup video review as we find out.

We know you want the numbers and we're not going to waste your time. Neither is Nissan. Its 2009 GT-R hits 60 mph in 3.3 seconds, quicker than the last Dodge Viper, Corvette Z06 and Porsche 911 turbo we tested. Keep your foot pinned, and after another tap on the upshift paddle it will clear the quarter-mile in 11.6 seconds at more than 120 mph.

Skyline GT-R Heaven: 2009 Nissan GT-R Ultimate Road Trip
http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Features/articleId=125571
It's been a long time coming, but there's a white 2009 Nissan GT-R in the Inside Line Garage (we photographed it with our Ferrari to prove it). In fact, the keys are in my pocket as I type this. Forgive me if this is a short blog post, I'm itching to get on the road.
Here's the deal. The car is a PT2 unit, as in pre-production. And it's right off of Nissan's Arizona proving grounds. Nissan engineer Bruce Robinson drove it west from that facility yesterday. According to him the car runs great but has a tendency to drool a little fuel down the side of the car when you fill it up. He also said we should invest in a case of octane Booster. "We recommend 93, but it'll run on 91," he said. "I'd stop and get a few bottles."
And we will.
We officially leave Los Angeles for the Inside Line Ultimate GT-R Road Trip early tomorrow morning, so check back and follow along as we drive this all-wheel drive supercar 3,000 miles in three days. First day's destination? Well, we plan on hitting the El Mirage drylake for some top end runs. Then we'll turn north and find our way to Sacramento Dragway for a Wednesday night of grudge match drag racing. We hope to get there about 5 pm.
If you live in the area of the California capital city come on out. We'll even let you sit in the car while you tell us how much you love Inside Line. If you can't make it, keep checking this page for blogs, photos and video of our adventure.
