NEW SHOES! 2011 Lexus IS-F CUSTOM AZA 20" Staggered Wheels on Nitto INVO

***THESE WHEELS HAVE BEEN CHANGED SINCE THIS VIDEO WAS SHOT. THEY ARE ALL BLACK NOW!*** This is video 2 of 2 The new custom 1-off 20" wheels for my Lexus IS-F are finally finished and on! This is a brand new forging, very similar to the AZA "slide" wheel (see website), but a little different to accommodate my Brembo brakes. There is a 4" lip up front and a 4 1/2" lip in the rear. Everything is black but the inner spokes which are brushed aluminum and the stripe on the outside which is also brushed aluminum. The wheels are 20x10 in the rear with a 275/25/20 Nitto Invo tire. The wheels up front are 20x9 with a 235/30/20 Nitto Invo tire. I hope to lower this car by at least 1" sometime this year. The suspension for the '11 is supposed to be all new and re-engineered for this year so im not sure what my choices are going to be. It has a factory 1" drop from the normal IS250/350 so its already got a nice stance IMO. Here is the new KW V3 coilovers i was talking about in the last few video's........installed! These things are great! They ride perfect and i have no "cut or rub" even on a full u-turn. So far it rides as good, if not better then stock. Of course the ride height is not the only thing that is adjustable, the rebound and compression rates are also adjustable. Top 5 Affordable Modifications
http://clublexus.com/how-tos is the leading Lexus IS, RX, ES, and GS resource for technical DIY guides. We've researched the top five affordable modifications among ClubLexus.com forum members. For the full article, please visit http://www.clublexus.com/how-tos/a/lexus-top-5-affordable-modifications-367 536 # 1 - LED Bulbs A minimal amount of skill, basic tools and a little time goes a very long way with this mod. Adding LED bulbs to various areas can easily be done, saving you a lot of money from having a professional do it for you. Interior kits can be purchased for your particular model, so tracking down each bulb part number is not necessary. Rear bulbs can be purchased individually to customize the color and level of illumination for each component. This is a great way to really give your car a unique look. Rear LED lights not only look great, but they increase your safety factor as well. # 2 - Carbon Fiber Dash Wrap Another popular modification is to wrap your dash in carbon fiber adhesive. You do need to have some nice skills and take your time. A rush job or cheap materials can make the end product look pretty cheesy. A professional is going to cost a good deal but the end result will be fantastic. You can wrap the entire dash, or just some of the components, like the center console and door trim panels. The various configurations allow you to make your car as unique as you like. If you can do it yourself, you will be extremely satisfied with how much you saved and how different it looks compared to the OEM dash. # 3 - Side Marker Tint One of the easiest modifications that you can do yourself in a matter of minutes is to tint any of your lights, in particular, the side markers. These can also be colorized in practically any color of the spectrum. The nice thing about tint is that it doesn't have to be permanent, and even subtle color changes really make your Lexus pop. If you get tired of a blue hue, you can change to a more dramatic yellow. The possibilities are endless and can make your Lexus stand out. # 4 - Blacked-out Headlights Nothing looks meaner on a Lexus than blacked out headlights. This is a pretty easy modification to do, although it takes a few hours. To get to the headlamps, you have to remove the bumper, which isn't difficult either; you just have to take your time and be careful that you don't scratch the bumper cover. You will need to bake the headlight case in an oven in order to melt the sealant holding the pieces together. You can then separate the pieces and paint the inside of the lamp hood black, and re-seal. This will take a few hours, but only a moderate skill set is needed to get the job done. The effort is definitely worth it when you implement the finished product. # 5 - Painted Brake Calipers Another affordable, easy DIY modification is painting your brake calipers. The difficult part of this job involves the length of time it takes if you use the traditional brush method. You'll need a few coats and to wait a day in between for it to dry. Several thin coats will create a clean and glossy look. If you don't have the time, you can use the spray method, which allows faster application because the time in between coats is greatly diminished. Spraying your calipers requires much more care, where as hand painting is less messy and allows for more detail. After the paint has dried, you can apply decals or even paint a design if you have the skills.

BACK IN BLACK! 2011 Lexus ISF Lowered on 20" AZA Forged Wheels (REPAINTED)
Please visit my site! http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board - join today! As you might know, these wheels are pretty much brand new. They are custom, 1 off, 3 piece made specifically for my car. When they were first finished , they had a machined stripe on the outside edge and also in between the spokes was also exposed aluminum. Recently i sent out the 20" AZA Wheels back and asked them to Paint them all black. I really liked the way they looked before but i really had my heart set on ALL BLACK. I am very pleased with the results....although black gets dirty VERY FAST! Now the blue brakes we painted a few months ago really stand out! the wheels are: Front: 20x9 wrapped in a 235/30/20 Rear: 20x10 wrapped in a 285/25/20 Tires are Nitto Invo. Suspension: KW-V3 Adjustable Coilovers - lowered 2 1/8" For the finest quality wheels in the business, Visit AZA's website! http://www.azaforged.com Have an ISF?
