Visit Us at: http://LTWTV.us - When I got this new Regal to review, I knew that it was going to be pretty good. Buick has really turned around and the Regal is one of the company's success stories. After taking the car on a 300 mile trip, I must say that the Regal has exceeded my expectations. Here are some of the high points of my trip. The car looks good, it drives like a bigger car, it is comfortable, it is quiet, the audio system is superb, and finally, I averaged 33.1 mpg and I was running at least ten over the speed limit. Of course, the downside of a turbo four cylinder engine is turbo lag, and the Regal has some of that. In today's video, we will take an up close and personal in depth look at the understated muscle car of the late 80s, the Buick Grand National, this one specifically the Regal T-Type. The GN and the T-Type are identical except for badging and interior trim. It wasn't until you stepped it on up to the GNX did you get the truly different package (which I will explain in the video). The GN is arguably the most menacing looking buick of all time with it's black monochrome paint scheme and turbo charged 3.8 V6 pumping out amazing performance numbers for the time period, even today! A unique experience to be able to check out one of these beasts. During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality.
