This bus usually does a 1/4 mile wheelie down the whole strip, but was having problems today. This was at the 4th Annual PB B'laster Cavalcade of Stars at Norwalk/Summit Motorsports Park 5-15-10.
Recorded on Casio EX-FC100 w/ high speed recording. This video was shot at 30fps normally then at 210fps at launch.
Theres no sound with high speed recording, but they really were playing Cypress Hill when the bus came out.

Near side lane 8.88 @ 147mph
Far side lane 8.59 @ 142mph
I used a Casio EX-FC100 filmed in HD (basic point and shoot camera) and
thats why video is so shaky.
Crusher Camaro Hits the Drag Strip! - HOT ROD Unlimited Episode 3
On this episode of HOT ROD Unlimited, we look at the history of HOT ROD
magazine's longest-term project car, the Crusher Camaro. Watch as the '67 goes to
the drag strip for the very first time in its latest configuration as a
'70s street machine, complete with an 8-71 blower on a big-block Chevy.
For you tech heads, here are the specs on the car: It's a '67 Camaro that weighs 3,650 with the
driver. The engine is 489 ci with a Weiand 8-71 that has been blueprinted
by The Blower Shop in Simi Valley, California. The carbs are 750 Holleys,
and the oval-port heads are also from Holley. The engine has a very small
(226-at-0.050) hydraulic roller cam. At 5 psi Boost, it makes 520 hp at the wheels, and 500
lb-ft of torque. The transmission is a Gearstar 4L85E auto-overdrive, and
the rear gears are 3.50:1 in a Ford 9-inch with a Wavetrac diff from Moser
Engineering. We ran the Crusher on 30x9.50-15 Hoosier radial slicks for
this trip to the track, though on the street it rides on Pro-Tracs from
Coker Tire. This car is very streetable on 91-octane gas.
HOT ROD Unlimited appears every other Friday on the new Motor Trend

Meet, Nitro Nostalgia Funny Car class. This is the second round of
qualifying, from the first event on the NHRA Heritage Series drag racing
This video was shot in high definition, with surround sound audio that you
can hear even on Youtube, as long as your computer is hooked up to a Dolby
Here are drag racing videos of all of the rounds. Because there were so
many funny cars in attendance, there were two seperate eight-car fields in
the elimination rounds:

Dodge Challenger Slow motion Wheelie
1974 Dodge Challenger Slomo Wheelie vid. Santa Pod 2010 eurofinals. By
Blackett Photography. Here the car is powered by a 572ci Wedge motor. Runs
mid 9's @ full weight (3850lb +). To make the caltracks work you need
plenty of front end lift, bump stops were removed and frames notched to get
almost 6 1/2 inches of travel. Something Chrysler never designed that
suspension for I'd guess. We've since improved the bump steer by replacing
parts and resetting the camber / castor as the front has aftermarket parts
and plenty of adjustment.
In reality it's difficut to fully eliminate without going to a strut type
front end, though some people appear to have done it on stock stuff, it
seems to be a common chrysler trait. Check out the superstock video's from
the '70s and most Mopars do it also check out my other real time wheelie
vids you see that the wobble lasts only a fraction of a second.
Thanks for the comments.
