327 race engine by jeff davies at davies drilling/enterprises. not sure about the actual numbers but desktop Dyno says about 520-540. but thats 8500 rpm on the stand there. I'm still waiting to get a full pass on her though, in my full steel 55 in the back ground made 3/4 and 7/8th passes with fuel delivery problems and a stock converter at 12.0's and 12 teens so gunna run like a scalded bastard when dialed in. i finally posted the first burn out with the new motor in the car so you should check it out. and i finally got my first full pass. it spun a bit out of the hole and was a bit lean, but ran 11.73 @114.5 so still some tuning to do but not bad for a 327 in a 3500 pound car

My friends 55 Chevy Wagon reving up high. It has a 327 Corvette motor, Hooker long-tube headers, Edelbrock 4bbl carb, Crane Cam, and turbo Thrush Exhaust with true duals, pipes are either 2 3/4 or 3 inch. This is his car and its registered to him, he has had it since he was a kid, his grandfather built it and gave it to him. I know he is proud to be bringing American iron to the streets. Sorry about the shaky camera, it was below freezing out and my hands were cold.

IN CAR CAM 1974 Chevy Truck 327 SBC @ Sacramento Raceway
This is my first pass going down 1/4 mile in my 1974 C10 LWB, I was nervous as hell. I have been building my C10 for the past year all for a long long 14.8 sec pass. I made a couple mistakes for one, Two I am only running an open carrier 1 tire fire baby. But what the hell I am pleased with what it did being its a 4000+ lb brick i am driving. I shifted way to early in both gears and adrenalin was flowing through me so much I didn't realize I had more throttle left until just before the end of my pass which you can hear.. With a posi and 1 piece drive shaft I know I can break well into 13's. I have a 1968 327 out of a Corvette that is .40 over, 2.02 1.60 Aluminum heads with a mutha thumpr cam. I have a summit street strip 750 cfm running on a RPM Air Gap, 1.5 roller rockers, GM HEI hooked to a stage two CD spark box, full length headers on 3 inch pipe & 40 series Flowmasters dumped at the rear end. My tranny is a turbo 350 with a stage 2 shift kit controlled by a B&M Line Lock/Launch Control. I have 3:73 gears in a 12 bolt, My tires in rear are BFGoodrich G-Force Drag Radials 325/50/15's up front im running BFGoodrich Radial T/A's 295/50/15's.... It sits on a 3/5 drop 2.5 spindles up front and a flip kit in the rear. I have tons of potential just need to get it to the ground properly. 327 Small Block Chevy Engine Initial Startup Video!
Chevrolet 327, 1967 model created from the original 283 in a four door Chevy II Nova. Bored to 4.00, installed 327 forged steel (factory) crank, Eagle ultra-light H-beam rods, Comp solid lifter cam, KB forged pistons w/ tool steel pins, AFR 180 early Eliminator heads angle cut to 58 CC yielding a 10.3:1 compression ratio. Manley valves and push rods, Comp Beehive springs, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake. No Junk! Will be installing back into the four door Nova. Car ran high 12's with the 283; this engine should make about 100 HP more.
