came in stock standard and was fitted with a BTA spec stainless steel Exhaust system, bigger injectors, CNC
surge tank, Bosch fuel pump and new Intercooler piping. After the custom
BTA Dyno tune the car
picked up 135kW at the wheels!
The beauty of this package is that despite the extra power, it keeps the
car driveable and reliable. Best of both worlds we reckon!

Just how far can you push the tried and proven Ford straight six? This is
what we try to find out with our project "Monster" F6.
The goal? A 1000hp engine in a street package. The result? 1300hp+ from the
engine with 992.8hp at the rear wheels.

FPV Typhoon 4L turbo into the 9s - ZF 6-speed auto
Christian's FPV F6 has become the first 4L turbo Falcon into the 9s using the factory ZF
6-speed auto trans. An awesome achievement, the car is aided by a Nizpro
Stage 2+ performance package using the factory Garrett turbo (upgraded 0.7 compressor cover and Nizpro
modified wastegate). Making around 450kW to the wheels on 24psi Boost, the car is fuelled by E85 ethanol and
was raced with a full Exhaust, and on
275 street radials. Interesting the modified transmission still retains the
stock converter stall speed. Christian went 10.06 then 10.007 before going
9.98 at 138mph on his final pass of the day. The car was unable to complete
another pass due to no roll cage fitted.
Quick FPV Ford F6 turbo street car
Vel's FPV F6 runs a personal best pass at Heathcote. With 420hp on tap in
stock form a few basic upgrades has seen this Ford FG run fast with ease. A
switch to ethanol E85 fuel, Plazmaman Intercooler upgrade, slightly larger
than factory Garrett T04Z turbo and a
C-series transmission are responsible for the newfound speed. Like many
powerful Barra 4.0L turbo six engines,
the internals remain factory stock.
