I timed his second lap at about 1m40s, easily as fast as an 80s 911. Just an incredible machine that we were off-roading in only a few minutes before! Racing: 2011 Runoffs SRF in-car camera
UPDATE: Broken right rear shock was the handling culprit. D'oh. See more info below ("show more") - 2011 SCCA Runoffs. Class: SCCA Enterprises Spec Racer Ford (SRF) Driver: Denny Stripling Qualified 23rd, ran as high as 9th, finished 11th. Earned the Sunoco Hard Charger award. Rear-facing camera in upper left hand corner. Welcome to my Runoffs experience. I didn't qualify where I wanted due to missing half of the week, having mechanical issues during my two qualifying sessions, and subsequently over-driving my ill-handling car trying to make up for lost time. Nevertheless, making up 14 spots during the race was certainly exciting and enjoyable. Before the race I made a fuel pressure adjustment that turned out to be ill-advised as I felt like I had less straightaway speed than I had during qualifying the day before. I made significant changes to try and loosen the car up and it worked... too much in fact in the carousel which killed me on the longest straightaway. Overall a very fun weekend and some pretty entertaining video as a result. My brake pedal started to soften about a third of the way into the race so I had to push my braking zones way back (like an entire marker in some spots). Enjoy!

Starting from the back due to getting to the grid late - when the original qualifying position was P3. We would move from the back to 4th in 2 laps, and would slowly gain on the leaders but only finish 3rd because the 3rd place car ran out of fuel! Great race though.

So it was no hesitations with getting the camera out for footage!! Hella dope vehicle too!! Took it to a good location for pictures and videos. A Candy Orange 2012 Cadillac CTS Coupe on 24" Asanti wheels. Well put together car! Car was majority done in Virginia (except for paint). The paint was a Burnt Orange, Copper color! And then the sun made the Orange came out. Car was painted by Kent's Automotive in Waycross, GA. And it is sitting perfectly on 24" Asanti's, 275/25r24 tires. Had a matching Asanti Grille! Then the interior was done with brown gator inserts, and custom door panels. The door panels had Memphis MOFO Pro Component loudspeakers and tweeters... 1 8" speaker, 2 6.5" speakers and 2 tweeters in each door. And WHEW they were loud! Can hear them when he played music (watch on VIMEO). Also had to get highway footage of it! Glad I got videos of this one. Been seeing it on the internet, but officially got to check it out in person. Enjoy the video!
