2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Engine Swap 4.7L Part 1 - EricTheCarGuy

The lesson here is do your best to check the engine out before you install it and even that may not be enough. Be careful when doing a job like this especially if you are by yourself as you can get seriously injured if your not careful so work carefully and methodically and things should work out fine. Replacing a Distributor, Acura Integra - EricTheCarGuy
Replacing a Distributor, Acura Integra - EricTheCarGuy Well I think the title will sum this one up. Yes, I did loan my car to my brother the other day only to get it back with a bad distributor, luckily I had one in a box, not the correct one but one that worked. This also covers firing order and a few other tips should you have to replace the igniter or coil. In my opinion the only things you should automatically replace a distributor on a Honda or Acura for are the bearing going bad like in this video or oil leaking inside the assembly. I don't think they should ever be automatically replaced for a no start. I also highly recommend using Honda ignition parts, if not you may be sorry. There will be a "sequel" to this covering setting the ignition timing, click the link below. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sGzxCCaxDjI --- Click below and Stay Dirty Visit me at EricTheCarGuy.com http://ericthecarguy.com/ Visit EricTheCarGuy Forum http://www.ericthecarguy.com/forum/default.aspx Visit my Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/EricTheCarGuy --- As always, stay dirty ETCG Disclaimer: Due to factors beyond the control of EricTheCarGuy, it cannot guarantee against unauthorized modifications of this information, or improper use of this information.  EricTheCarGuy assumes no liability for property damage or injury incurred as a result of any of the information contained in this video. EricTheCarGuy recommends safe practices when working with power tools, automotive lifts, lifting tools, jack stands, electrical equipment, blunt instruments, chemicals, lubricants, or any other tools or equipment seen or implied in this video.  Due to factors beyond the control of EricTheCarGuy, no information contained in this video shall create any express or implied warranty or guarantee of any particular result.  Any injury, damage or loss that may result from improper use of these tools, equipment, or the information contained in this video is the sole responsibility of the user and not EricTheCarGuy.

2007 Tahoe 5.3L Engine Part 2 - EricTheCarGuy
Link to full version of this video: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/vmanuals/22-vmanual-store/155-2007-chevy-tahoe -53l-engine-replacement-vmanual Link to part 3: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eHjOHwn89NE Visit me at: http://www.ericthecarguy.com/ Ah the second installment of the Tahoe engine swap, I thought it was going to be pretty straightforward, it gave every indication that it would be I was very wrong. I had hoped to finish the swap in one day but given some of the 'little' things that held me up like the fuel lines behind the ABS modulator, no space to put the hook between the rear of the engine and the firewall, having to take the Exhaust off and the fastener that was placed behind the O2, little things that added up to kicking my butt. The cool thing was that I got to use 2 cameras for this shoot which makes this a historical event, it's all for you my dear viewers. Stay tuned for part 2 which should be next weeks video. --- Click below and Stay Dirty Visit me at EricTheCarGuy.com http://ericthecarguy.com/ Visit EricTheCarGuy Forum http://www.ericthecarguy.com/forum/default.aspx Visit my Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/EricTheCarGuy --- Stay dirty ETCG Due to factors beyond the control of EricTheCarGuy, it cannot guarantee against unauthorized modifications of this information, or improper use of this information.

How NOT to remove your engine.
Subscribe to my channel, I'm always posting great videos! About this video, I know this is a bad idea. There were some idiots on the turboDodge.com forums suggesting that this was a good idea. I needed to get a blown motor out of my car, so I setup the camera and demonstrated exactly what can go wrong with this method. Honestly, I tried to get it down gracefully, in the end I guess I was lucky it didn't knock the car over in the process. Let this be a lesson to all, use an engine crane. At least in cars where it's not designed to come out the bottom.
