Just an update. Pulled the high volume oil pump out and put the standard back in. Painted the valve cover, push rod cover and oil pan. Installed the water pump and thermotat housing. Finaly have the motor mounts ready to go and just need to order the bolts for them.

Ok! It runs! Haven't had a good chance to make a video yet, until now. I have been driving the truck to and from work for about a week now and I have had no problems. This is the cold start of my rebuild. I have some tweaking that needs to be done to the engine. The Exhaust is make shift and my welds suck, so no making fun of them. Ford 300 six build- first run
This is the initial run of my 300 six build. It's got a Clifford intake, 500 cfm Edelbrock 4 barrel, Crane 901 torque cam, split EFI manifolds, Cloyes adjustable timing set in advanced position, 9.0:1 compression with ~.038 quench, mild port, smoothed chambers with clearance around Exhaust valve and all necessary machine work. Should be approaching 400 lb ft torque.

Modified 300 I6 first run
First run of the 300 after eliminating the 1 barrel feedback Carter YFA carburetor. Now has Holley 465cfm Carb, Offenhauser DP intake, EFI Exhaust manifolds, DUI HEI distributor, Walker y-pipe, Thrush welded muffler, and more for the future.

The engine block was starting to have surface rust so I had to pant it. I went on the cheap with Dupli-Color engine paint. Would have liked to have go with eastwoods. But im on a budget. Should have the rest of the parts to put the engine back together with in the next two weeks. Sorry for the crappy video!

Minature Ford 300 inline six cylinder engine
This is the second running of the completed 300 inline six engine. It has a bore and stroke of .75 x . 875. It has compete water cooling through the block and head. The oiling system is by splash. The ignition is by 8-36 home made spark plugs fired by a Hall magnetic triggered distributor and an electronic ignition. The timing is about 22 degrees BTDC and the fuel is 86 octane pump gas.

Bobs 250 Chevy inline 6 DYNO pulls Straight six
250 Chevy, ross flat top pistons, 6" rods, balanced lower end. Built by Heckt Power. Parts supplied by www.12bolt.com 310 HP and still climbing! Torq is @275 near the start and is maintained to nearly the end of run. Head has 1.94/1.6 valves, bolt in intake port lumps are used. 1.75 roller rocker arms. The block is zero decked. Cam has 224/230 duraration @ .050 lift and .551 lift at the valves. Intake is a Clifford carb is a Edelbrock 500cfm This engine is almost at the max for this carb. Any more rpm and a 600 will need to be used.
