2012 Cadillac SRX - Drive Time Review
Drive Time review of the 2012 Cadillac SRX AWD Performance Collection by auto critic Steve Hammes www.DriveTime.cc

2011 Cadillac SRX Performance Collection Start Up, Engine, and In Depth Tour/Review
For the 2011 model year there are several model designations for the new SRX including Base, Luxury, Performance, Premium, turbo Performance, and turbo Premium. The basic differences in the performance and the premium is climate control for the rear passengers, ventilated seats for the front, and a couple of small things, other than that the performance and premium are almost one in the same. You can pick up a performance for around $42-43k. In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2011 Cadillac SRX Performance Collection. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this crossover while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this crossover designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

2012 Cadillac SRX Test Drive & Luxury Crossover Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/cadillac/srx/2012/ Cadillac vehicles and luxury have always gone hand and hand. The 2012 Cadillac SRX takes luxury into the crossover segment. The first generation while providing tons of luxury stuck out like a sore thumb due to its dated looks. But for the 2012 model year Cadillac totally redesigned the SRX from the ground up and it became an instant hit. The 2012 Cadillac SRX blends the best of both worlds with its styling. The SRX looks like a cross between a wagon and an SUV. And this is a good thing since Cadillac makes both a stunning SUV in the Escalade and maybe the best looking wagon ever in the CTS-V wagon. Up front the SRX sports the signature Cadillac emblem and chrome grill. The headlights have a really cool shape and are accented by daytime LED lights which is a must for a modern luxury vehicle. Combined with a sloping roof line and massive rims; the 2012 Cadillac SRX is a real eye pleaser. With a base price of $35,985 the SRX is the perfect choice for a luxury crossover vehicle. Powering the 2012 Cadillac SRX is a direct injected 3.6 liter V-6 engine that produces 308 horsepower and 265 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is a smooth shifting 6-speed automatic. Fuel economy is pretty good at 17 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway. The SRX is available with an Advanced AWD system that features torque vectoring and a rear electronic limited slip differential. These features help keep you safe by sending power to the wheels that need it the most, but these systems also provide enhanced vehicle control which add to the luxurious ride. On the inside the 2012 Cadillac SRX offers tons of luxurious features and amenities. The drive is bathed in supple leather surfaces and top notch Sapele Wood trim which is usually reserved for use in high-end guitars. It is a great environment to be in. The steering wheel and shift knob are both wrapped in leather. The driver and front passenger get comfortable leather seats that are not only adjustable but they feature heating and cooling options. But maybe the best part of the 2012 Cadillac SRX is the UltraView sunroof which spans almost the entire length and width of the roof. There is also a BOSE 5.1 Surround Sound Stereo unit for your listening pleasure. Other features include Navigation and push button start. The 2012 Cadillac SRX is the ultimate luxury crossover SUV. Lexus RX 350 F Sport vs Cadillac SRX Luxury Crossover SUV Comparison & Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com If you are in the market for a luxury crossover, there is a good chance either the Lexus RX 350 or Cadillac SRX is on your list of vehicles to test drive. The RX 350 has been the best selling luxury crossover in this segment with the SRX not far behind in second. The base price of the Lexus RX 350 is $40k ($47k for the F Sport) while the Cadillac SRX comes in a few thousand cheaper at $38k. From a value and performance perspective, the Lexus RX 350 actually falls behind the Cadillac SRX. Design wise, the RX 350 has a more feminine style. The lines are softer and the body more rounded which speaks more to female shoppers. On the other side, the SRX has a more edgy style that looks more masculine and thus appeals more to men. The Lexus RX 350 is geared more towards comfort with better seats and a soft ride. Another factor that is important to buyers in this segment is the infotainment. Lexus was riding high a few years ago, but Cadillac has quickly surpassed them with the CUE infotainment system. The centerpiece of the Cadillac User Experience is an iPad like device mounted in the center console. This truly represents the future of infotainment systems in automobiles. The Lexus RX 350 is powered by a 3.5 liter V-6 engine that produces 270 horsepower and 248 lb-ft. of torque. The transmission is an 8-speed automatic. The Cadillac SRX is powered by a 3.5 liter V-6 engine that makes 308 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. The transmission is a 6-speed automatic. In terms of fuel economy the RX 350 nets 18 MPG in the city and 26 MPG on the highway while the SRX gets 17 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway. Perhaps on of the biggest considerations for buyers in this segment and luxury cars as a whole is how they will be treated by the dealership. Lexus offers the absolute best dealer experience anywhere in America. If that is an important factor for you, then the RX 350 is your vehicle. However, Cadillac is not far behind as they have done a lot of things to improve their dealer experience. In the end it's a toss up. The winner of this luxury crossover comparison depends on the buyer. The Cadillac SRX has more power and costs less to buy. The Lexus RX 350 offers a better dealer experience and higher resale value. In the end there are a lot of things to consider but you cannot go wrong with either one of these luxury crossovers. 2013 Cadillac SRX vs Lexus RX 350 F-Sport 0-60 MPH Mile High Mashup Review
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The brand new 2013 Cadillac SRX and the new Lexus RX 350 F Sport are both luxury crossovers that seat 5 people and come with all-wheel-drive. In terms of price, performance and market segment the two vehicles are direct competitors. So this mashup is also a direct matchup review. And while the crossovers directly compete against each other, each brings something a little different to the table. The Cadillac has GM's new CUE technology package while the RX 350 is the racy F Sport version. In another fun and informative TFLcar Mashup review, we see which of these two new sporty and luxurious crossovers is the king of the hill.
