http://www.ClassicCarBuyingSecrets.com Click now for an instant download on "How to Avoid the 7 Deadliest Mistakes of Buying a Classic Car Online"! For every hot rod, there is a trend. For every trend, admirers have an image of "what's hot" burned into their minds. This custom 1956 Ford F-100 is "what's hot"! A classic Ford truck with a 351 Cleveland, custom interior and an undercarriage that is an engineers dream, what more could you ask for? Tilt forward that big yellow hood and get personal with that engine. It's a 351 Windsor SVO block out of the Motorsports catalog. The rotating assembly is a Scat crank, which was stroked and bored to 406ci. This is one super high powered motor! Under that gorgeous air cleaner is a Demon 950 carb with electric choke and vacuum secondaries, and a powder coated Victor Jr. intake. AFR heads and jet coated headers sit below the polished aluminum "Outlaw" valve covers. There is a whole MSD setup including a 6A box, blaster coil and billet distributor. You will also find a new style power steering pump and alternator. No expense was spared on the build of this truck. Roush even installed the billet specialties pump and pulley setup on the front of the motor. There is also a billet timing chain cover and SFI harmonic balancer up there. To top it off, the firewall is polished stainless, which acts like a mirror to show off this motor at the car show. It's just amazing! Hop inside and check out the velour and leather work. It's impressive! The gray bench seat is inlayed with a purple velour flame. The same flame pattern is displayed in the molded door panels. The dash is fitted with Dolphin gauges and the AM/FM radio. A beautiful Budnik wheel tops the Ididit column and a Lokar shifter is at your right leg. The windshield and weather stripping was replaced in 2006. Drop underneath and check out the well constructed chassis. Out back you will find brand new aluminized Flowmaster pipes and mufflers, which we just rebuilt. Instead of the chrome Exhaust tips coming out in front of the rear tires, it is now out back. The Ford 9" rear end and nodular center section is being held up by Total Cost Involved's 4-bar system and coil over shocks, and is putting some serious power to the ground. The super solid, rust free, frame has an eye-catching coat of purple paint. There is a new 3" driveshaft with new u-joints running down the center. The floorboards are in awesome shape, and the steel running boards have a nice paint job as well. The rockers, body mounts and frame ties are all in awesome shape. The Dominator C6 transmission has a nice TCI pan and the paint job on the motor and oil pan is sweet. The Fatman front suspension is based on the Mustang 2, and the boxed frame really holds down the power. Power rack and pinion steering and SSBC disc brakes make this truck super fun to drive. Sitting at all four corners are polished aluminum 5 spoke wheels and BF Goodrich G Force T/A's (2-25-70-15 front, 2-75-60-15 rear). One of my favorite features on this truck is the battery shut-off switch, which is hidden inside the passenger side fender. Outside, screaming yellow paint will stun your retinas, and you're going to love every minute of it. Start up front. The highlight of the truck is undeniably the hood -- it's a tilt forward, one piece unit, and it's cool. It makes service a snap and it'll impress the heck out of car show attendees! Both front and rear bumpers are highly polished stainless steel, so you never have to worry about them again. The chrome grille is in excellent shape. Check out that bed, too: the wood is beautifully stained and maintained, and the chrome inlay shines. There's a lot going on here! What we have is a cool truck with ample power, a fully finished chassis, a comfortable interior and a unique look. You gotta like that! For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/7hjvms2 With an unlimited budget, amazing things are possible, and this astounding 1956 Ford F100 is the result of one man's vision, determination, and one hell of a big check. And while it may look like a familiar pickup truck, there isn't a single component anywhere on this truck that hasn't been modified, smoothed, polished, or created from scratch, and today it is a hand-made piece of rolling sculpture that merely looks like a '56 Ford. The fenders have been smoothed, the hood and roof elaborately sectioned and welded back together to create a flatter profile, and details like the fender lips have been tweaked to make it unlike anything else you've ever seen before. Other details include a custom made bed that's three inches wider and three inches shorter than a stocker. Of course, fit and finish are as perfect as such things can be, with thousands of hours tied up just in getting the body to fit as precisely as possible. Then there's the paint, which is a subtle two-tone green that will never go out of fashion. In thirty years, this truck will still look as stunning as it does today, which is a tribute to the builder's taste as much as his skill. There are, of course, no ripples or signs of orange peel in the paint, which has been massaged, polished, and buffed to a stunning shine that is distortion-free no matter where you look, even in the door jambs and under the hood. And while the bed is still wood like it was originally, it is now made of exotic South African Lace wood stained a wonderful mahogany color and detailed with stainless steel rub strips. Power comes from a General Motors Performance Parts 454 cubic inch big block V8, which cranks out a towering 425 horsepower. Thanks to a set of custom-made valve covers featuring emblems inspired by the original Ford pieces, and a trick intake shroud, it looks completely custom. All the wiring and plumbing has been artfully hidden and tucked out of sight, and even things like the welds on the radiator are precise enough to survive close scrutiny. Plenty of engineering went into the build, so it runs and drives as you would expect, with a ferocious wallop of torque and a rumbling idle. If you just have to drive it, you certainly can and without worries about its roadworthiness. More hand-fabricated components live underneath, thanks to a Fatman Fabrications frame with a Mustang II independent front suspension and rack-and-pinion steering. Out back, a traditional four-link holds the Ford 9-inch rear off the ground, and the 3.70 gears inside give it plenty of bit off the line without making cruising a chore. A built 700R4 4-speed automatic handles gear changes, and the overdrive allows it to loaf along at highway speeds. Airbags at all four corners allow ride height to be adjusted on the fly without affecting ride quality, and it glides along the pavement like a hovercraft. Disc brakes with cross-drilled rotors have been fitted at all four corners, and are visible through the spokes of the custom-made 20-inch Budnik GTX wheels wearing low-profile BFGoodrich tires. Climb inside and you'll easily forget that this was once a pickup truck, as the custom made green leather interior wraps around you and your passenger. There's not a single production part left inside, and even the 2006 Nissan Altima gauges were custom modified just for this truck. Beautifully stitched seats, door panels, and even floor mats create a unified theme, and you'll note that the paint job details even wrap around the door frames and continue inside the truck. A custom center console with a waterfall effect between the seats was fabricated, and houses the shifter and controls for the Vintage Air A/C system. I think you'll agree that calling this art is not an exaggeration. So is this 1956 Ford F100 art? Well, it's certainly more than just a truck. It takes more than cubic dollars to build a vehicle of this caliber (although that's definitely a primary ingredient), it also takes vision, time, skill, talent, and dedicationPeople pay millions for art to hang on their walls, surely this piece of art that stands in your garage is worth it, too.
