Audi R8 V10 - Honda S2000..How much faster is the R8..
A friend and I were driving back home and we came up behind an Audi R8. It indeed was quite a bit faster than my S2000 haha. (Duhh)..But hey, The R8 is a $110k-$160k Car and the s2000 is only $35k new. This is the V10 Audi R8, which puts out more than twice as much HP as my S2000. To all the people who think I'm trying to say the S2000 is as good, or anywhere close to an Audi R8, you are foolish, and you have completely missed the point of the video. I am showing how much faster an R8 is than my S2000. That is all. It you are ranting and raving about how "the R8 barely touched the gas pedal", watch from 0:50 - 0:55 . He blows me away. This build consisted of replacing our stock appearing blouch dominator 2.0 turbo (which ran a best pass of 11.4 @ 122mph) with an Extreme turbo Systems Billet T3 PT67-65 turbo Kit. We also removed the entire long block out of the car to be custom built to our specs with a full Cosworth Bottom End. We are now using Cosworth Pistons, Rods, Bearings, Rings, and Head Gasket. Gino, from Evolution Racing Engines in Amityville, Ny performed a complete Port and Polish along with an extreme valve job to match GSC's S2 274/274 Camshafts high duration and lift. Furthermore, an AMS 600HP Fuel System was customized by us in utilizing Twin External/In-Line Bosch 044 Fuel Pumps feeding a -8 Feed and Return line to an AMS Fuel Pressure Regulator Kit and AMS Fuel Rail feeding Fuel Injector Clinics 2150 c.c Injectors. We also decided to purchase an Exedy Twin HD Re-Build kit to freshen up our clutch which had numerous mid-11 second passes at EnglishTown, Race Way Park. Last but not least, The new Tial Q 50mm Blow Off Valve replaced the stock metal valve which starts leaking at the 27psi marker. We have now successfully maxed out the stock factory MAF Housing which registers 4.99 Volts from Peak Boos/Torque to our Red-Line of 10,000rpm. The stock factory MAP Sensor also caps itself out at 33.4psi. We are upgrading to an Omni 4-Bar map sensor to run upwards of 50psi in hopes to max out our Precision T3 Billet 67-65 turbo and achieve an absolute minimum of 825whp. Our conclusion for the 2010 Racing Season motivates us to become a few World Record Holders consisting of: The World's Highest HP Evo X Gsr with the Stock ECU, Stock MAF, and E-85 Fuel. My completely stock (including stock tires) Honda S2000 laps Summit Point Raceway during a Ferrari Club meet. Passes Ferraris, Porsches, and Maseratis. Demonstrates what an excellent track car the S2000 truly is as well as how driving skill is a better ally than horsepower at the track. Disregard the pass of the first yellow Ferrari 360. The driver was warming the car up. The remaining cars, however, were being driven robustly.

This NSX started out as Red 91 with 55,000 miles on it was stripped down after two weeks of ownership and the build began. The front fenders, rear quarters and rockers are Sorcery the Hood is Route KS. Rear bumper. hatch and front splitter as many other parts are custom one off raw carbon fiber made by owner. The airlift system ( Variable Ride Height ) is from Umbrella Auto Design the car does not have air bags. The car is wrapped in Matte White vinyl over the winter the door jams will be fixed to match as the engine bay. The Exhaust is Sorcery no longer made rims are Advan RS 18-19 brakes are custom with milled brackets to handle the 6 piston calipers. Interior is custom Alcantara and Leather with many more custom pieces to many to list. Motor will be pulled this winter and fit with custom ITB's and will be featured in a National Car Magazine next spring. Door jams and engine bay will be taken car of also.
