This is a step by step video on how to go to the race track and drag race. It was made for Gateway International Raceway, but should be similar to any NHRA racetrack that you may goto. Sorry for the bad acting!

Best GTR launch control reaction ever
Courage is strong in this beautiful GTR Pilot! She took the directions
given to her and just rolled with it!
I love the part where the fear takes over body control, which makes it hard
for her to think straight to let off the gas to make it stop. Hahahahaha
This is by far the best GTR Reaction I have ever seen with for GTR Launch
Frank Hawley's Drag Racing School - Super Class Promo Video HD
Right to the limit of performance...
The Super Class course is the most popular program at Frank Hawley's Drag
Racing School for both experienced and beginning drivers. Compared to these
super class cars the fastest and most powerful passenger car on the market
is like driving a baby stroller. Even if you can handle a Viper or turbo Porsche, your first run in this dragster
will be absolutely astonishing.
Unless you have catapulted off an aircraft carrier or blasted off in the
space shuttle, nothing in your previous life will have prepared you for the
experience. But your training at Frank Hawley's Drag Racing School will let
you keep complete control of yourself and the car -- right to the limit of
These two day courses include classroom instruction, progressively faster runs down the strip and video
review of your runs. Those new to drag racing will learn basic techniques
Experienced racers will master the mental challenges that separate winners
from losers. Age, size and gender are immaterial: the race car puts
everyone on an equal footing. The winning difference is your ability to
control yourself in a challenging environment.
If you have experience on the quarter mile, you'll be blown away by the
amount of knowledge you'll gain through this program. You'll increase your
skills and gain confidence at handling these lightning quick machines.
You'll learn how your mind and body work and how to train yourself to
think, act and perform like a champion.
This course keeps a steady pace with plenty of action on and off the track.
Earn your NHRA Competition Driver's License. The privilege to race these
dragsters at NHRA race tracks across the country is limited to those
holding a valid NHRA competition driver's license. Our course can provide
you with this valued license.

Subaru- Drag racing - what happens when you launch in 2nd
This is what happens when you launch in 2nd gear! Poor clutch.

Still managed to win though with a 13.6s@112mph vs 14.10@102mph. Over the

How Not to Drag Race a 2013 Boss 302 Mustang at Racelegal.com 8-10-2012

Ford revived the Boss 302 nameplate for 2012. The standard 2011 Ford Mustang GT's 5.0-liter V8 is
enhanced with an upgraded intake system, forged rotating assembly, CNC
ported heads, revised camshafts and a high flow "runners in the box" intake
taken from the 302R racecar. It produces 444 horsepower -- 32 hp (24 kW)
over the standard GT's 412 hp (307 kW). The engine loses about 10 lb·ft
(14 N·m). of torque at peak when compared to the standard GT. It is rated
at 380 lb·ft (515 N·m) and comes with a six-speed MT-82 manual
transmission. A 3.73 rear axle uses carbon fiber plates in its limited slip
differential or an optional Torsen differential. The quad Exhaust system made up of two standard Mustang GT outlets and two side pipes
that exit on either side of the rear crossover. The side pipes send the Exhaust through metal "Attenuation" discs
to create an extra growling Exhaust
sound. The discs are removable and include a spacer plate sized to match
aftermarket Exhaust dump valves.
The Boss 302 takes the Mustang GT's suspension and adds
higher-rate coil springs, stiffer bushings, and a larger diameter rear
stabilizer bar. The body is lowered 11 mm (0.4 in) up front and just 1 mm
(0.0 in) in the rear to give it a more raked stance designed to recall the
original. The shocks are adjustable at the shock tower by using a flat head
screwdriver. The standard Mustang traction and stability
control programs have been altered with a new intermediate sport mode
designed to allow for more flexibility on the track.
The aero package is almost entirely copied from the Boss 302R race car. The
19-inch black-alloy racing wheels are 9-inches wide up front and 9.5-inches
out back and come within Pirelli P-Zero tires.
