Release The Draguar! Building a Blown Jaguar Rat Rod - Roadkill Episode 7
On this episode of Roadkill, Freiburger and Finnegan do unspeakable things
to a '74 Jaguar XJ12, one of about 4,700 made. Namely, they cut a giant
hole in the hood and install a Weiand 6-71 Supercharger and twin Holley carburetors on the
350ci Chevy V8 that was already installed in the car when it was purchased
for $1,000. But things can never be easy, so the Supercharger installation is staged in the parking
lot of Gotelli Speed Shop in South San Francisco. Then the duo hits the
road, making their way to Sacramento Raceway, where they can finally
unleash "The Draguar" at the strip.
Roadkill appears every fourth Friday on the new Motor Trend channel.

NORC 2012: Jaguar S-Type R run in 125 MPH class
Footage from our run in the May 2012 Nevada Open Road Challenge. Cars try
to match a target average speed as closely as possible - we were aiming for
125 MPH, with a maximum tech speed of 140 MPH. We finished 0.36 seconds
fast, which placed us 5th in a competitive class.
125MPH is positively sedate compared to Jim Peruto, who set a new
world-record at the event, running an average of 217.557 MPH in the
Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Bugatti Veyron - Drag Race!
Think the 380hp F-Type V6 S has a chance against a 1001hp Veyron 16.4? Think again!
The F-Type gets off to an awesome start thanks to the launch control and
the reluctance of the Bugatti driver to completely floor it, but then it's
game over, just watch how much the Veyron obliterates the Jag.
The event was run by Vmax200 http://www.facebook.com/vmax200 at RAF
Wroughton as part of the build up to Wilton Classic & Supercars 2013.
