The 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is powered by a turbocharged 2.0 liter MIVEC 4-cylinder engine that makes 291 horsepower and 300 lb-ft. of torque. Transmission choices are a 5-speed manual or a trick Twin Clutch-Sportronic Shift Transmission with paddle shifters. 0-60 MPH blasts by in less than 5 seconds. The all-wheel drive system called Super All-Wheel Control is very revolutionary allowing the Evo to send power to wither the outside or inside wheels resulting in awesome handling and cornering ability. Huge Brembo brake rotors and calipers are standard and provide excellent stopping power.
On the inside the 2012 Mitsubishi Evolution comes with Recaro Sport Seats which are found on many racing applications and high end sports cars. The seats provide much need support in spirited driving situations. Aluminum trim pieces tie the interior together. On the outside the Evo comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 245 series performance tires. The aluminum roof lightens the car while also reducing the center of gravity which adds to the handling prowlness. Each Evolution comes with HID headlights that not only look cool but make for a safer drive at night.
The Evolution is a car that is built for fun and serious performance. The 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is a car that wants to be driven on the track. This car can make and average driver into a much better driver thanks to the intelligent AWD system. about the 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer? Well first off this car has the same
aggressive look and stance as its more expensive older brother; the
Evolution. The Lancer also has a base price of under $16,000. Next the
Lancer gets excellent fuel economy. Another cool thing about this car is
you can opt for Mitsubishi's famous AWD system.
So the base model 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer is powered by a 2.0 liter
4-cylinder engine that makes 148 horsepower and 145 lb-ft. of
torque. This is also the engine that gets 25 MPG in the city and 34 MPG on
the highway. The mid-level GT model has a larger 2.4 liter engine that
makes 168 horsepower and 167 lb-ft. of
torque. This car costs a bit more and get slightly less fuel economy
figures. But the GT does come loaded with a ton of great features and
The real shining star of the line-up is the Lancer Ralliart AWD edition.
This car features a wagon design called the Sportback. Besides looking
ultra cool, the Ralliart features a turbocharged power plant and paddle shifters. The
engine is basically the same turbocharged MIVEC motor as the Evo just detuned a
bit. There is still plenty of power as the Lancer Ralliart produces 237 horsepower and 253
lb-ft. of torque.

2013 Scion FR-S New Car Video Review

Scion FR-S stands for front engine, rear wheel drive sports car. This
2-door coupe is a very fun car to drive and is a joint venture between
Toyota and Subaru. Back in 2007 the 2 manufacturers decided to build this
car together so much of the engine technology, parts, and even the chassis
is shared. Base price on the 2013 Scion FR-S is $24,200.
The 2013 Scion FR-S is powered by a 2.0 liter boxer engine which is a
essentially a flat-4 cylinder motor developed by Subaru. Power is pretty
good for a naturally aspirated 2.0 liter engine at 200 horsepower and 151 lb-ft. of
torque. There are 2 different transmission choices: a 6-speed manual and a
6-speed automatic. The automatic transmission is much more fuel efficient
at 25 MPG in the city and 34 MPG on the highway.
The Scion FR-S was designed to be a great handling everyday affordable
sports car and while this vehicle does not have a ton of power, it does
have a great center of gravity and almost perfect weight distribution (for
a front engine car) at 55% front and 45% rear. To illustrate just how
serious the engineers are about the handling capabilities of the 2013 Scion
FR-S, the car has a lower center of gravity than both a Nissan GTR and
Porsche Boxster which are considered some of the best handling cars in the

2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Test Drive & Car Review

Hyundai Genesis Coupe is back with a newly redesigned look and upgraded
engine choices. The Genesis Coupe has always been lumped into the muscle
car category with its front engine, rear-wheel drive platform. But the
muscle cars have always held a distinct power advantage until now.
The base engine for the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe is a turbocharged 2.0 liter 4-cylinder. Power is up 30%
from 210 horsepower up to 274 horsepower. An upgraded
dual-scroll turbo, larger Intercooler, and Dual Continuously
Variable Valve Timing help achieve these better power figures. Fuel economy
for the 2.0 liter engine is 21 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway.
The other engine choice is a direct-injected 3.8 liter V-6 which produces
Fuel economy for this engine is expected to be 18 MPG in the city and 28
MPG in the highway. There are two transmission choices available in the
2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe: an 8-Speed automatic or a 6-speed manual.
On the outside the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe retains the same overall
shape but the styling has been changed to reflect the rest of the Hyundai
line-up. Up front the Genesis receives a more aggressive look thanks to an
upgraded hood with two scoops, new front fascia, and larger bumper opening.

dual asymmetrical chrome pipes. The lights have been upgraded to include
LED daytime running lamps which can be found on high end luxury cars. The
R-Spec and Track editions will receive huge 19-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe features an available 360-watt
Infinity sound system. There are steering wheel controls for the audio
system and the usual iPod, USB, and auxiliary ports. A navigation system
can be purchased as an option that includes a 7-inch touch screen monitor.
The rear seats have been designed with comfort in mind. Instead of stuffing
3 seats in the rear; Hyundai has decided to go with only two. This means
there is a ton of room for the rear occupants.
When the Hyundai Genesis Coupe arrived on the scene a few years ago it was
certainly a respectable car. In fact it was this car and the sedan version
that really gave Hyundai a Boost in
the automotive world. Now with the 2013 model there is more power! The base
model 2.0 liter Hyundai Genesis Coupe starts at $24,250 and the top of the
line 3.8 liter with the track package will retail for about $33,000.

2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 R Spec Test Drive & Sport Compact Car Review
72 The Korean automaker Hyundai has come a long way with the 2013 Hyundai
Genesis Coupe 3.8 R Spec. The fuel efficient automaker used to be know for
getting great gas mileage, but the refreshed Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 R
Spec is an enthusiasts dream come true. Hyundai kick started the 21st
century sport compact craze with the original Genesis Coupe, and while it
was a breath of fresh air from the 100,000 mile warranty car builder, at
the time the rear wheel drive sport compact felt a bit heavy. However the
refreshed 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe not only looks better, but thanks to
gasoline direct injection they make a whole lot more power as well.
Starting at $28,750 the 3.8 R Spec comes exclusively with a six speed
manual that is connected to the torquey 3.8 Liter Lambda V6 and rides on a
set of staggered 19 inch wheels wrapped in stick y Bridgestone Potenza
tires and house a set of big red Brembo brake calipers.
The 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 R Spec is motivated by a large 3.8 Liter
GDI V6 that produces 348 HP at 6,400 RPM and 295 lb-ft of torque at 5,300
RPM. Despite the added power the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe R Spec still
gets great gas mileage, rated at 18 MPG in the city and as much as 27 MPG
on the highway. The 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 R Spec is quick too,
accelerating from 0 to 60 MPH in 5.9 seconds and keeps on going though the
quarter mile in 14.3 seconds at 98 MPH.
From the ground up the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe R Spec was built to
perform. The 3.8 R Spec handles great, even with the extra weight up front
from the Lambda V6. The 225 wide rubber up front helps point the R Spec
around turns while the Torsen limited slip differential makes sure that
power is distributed evenly across the 245 series tires out back. The
Brembo brake calipers also help to bring things to a halt. On the inside
the sport bucket seats hold occupants in place nicely and add a nice touch
to the 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe R Spec's enthusiast attitude.

Here is phase 1.5 of tuning our re-built Lancer Evolution X Gsr for the
late 2010 racing season. This build consisted of replacing our stock
appearing blouch dominator 2.0 turbo
(which ran a best pass of 11.4 @ 122mph) with an Extreme turbo Systems Billet T3 PT67-65 turbo Kit. We also removed the entire long block
out of the car to be custom built to our specs with a full Cosworth Bottom
End. We are now using Cosworth Pistons, Rods, Bearings, Rings, and Head
Gasket. Gino, from Evolution Racing Engines in Amityville, Ny performed a
complete Port and Polish along with an extreme valve job to match GSC's S2
274/274 Camshafts high duration and lift. Furthermore, an AMS 600HP Fuel
System was customized by us in utilizing Twin External/In-Line Bosch 044
Fuel Pumps feeding a -8 Feed and Return line to an AMS Fuel Pressure
Regulator Kit and AMS Fuel Rail feeding Fuel Injector Clinics 2150 c.c
Injectors. We also decided to purchase an Exedy Twin HD Re-Build kit to
freshen up our clutch which had numerous mid-11 second passes at
EnglishTown, Race Way Park.
Last but not least, The new Tial Q 50mm Blow Off Valve replaced the stock
metal valve which starts leaking at the 27psi marker. We have now
successfully maxed out the stock factory MAF Housing which registers 4.99
Volts from Peak Boos/Torque to our Red-Line of 10,000rpm. The stock factory
MAP Sensor also caps itself out at 33.4psi. We are upgrading to an Omni
4-Bar map sensor to run upwards of 50psi in hopes to max out our Precision
T3 Billet 67-65 turbo and achieve an
absolute minimum of 825whp. Our conclusion for the 2010 Racing Season
motivates us to become a few World Record Holders consisting of: The
World's Highest HP Evo X Gsr with the Stock ECU, Stock MAF, and E-85 Fuel.

Mitsubishi EVO X - Tuned - Road Test with Great Sound
This 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X was tuned by Mike Welch at Road
Race Engineering and I was lucky enough to get the keys and have at it for
a day of canyon carving.
I have never driven an all wheel drive car on the street and this
experience has completely changed my perception of this type of vehicle.
The perfect balance of the chassis combined with just enough power to make
the scenery turn into a blur made me an absolute believer in the turbo AWD platform.

utterly terrible tin can of a body and an interior that seems to come with
the chassis for free. Enter racer Ryan Gates. He's been competing in Evo's
for years, and decided that he wants to build a better Evo. So he's
