We went for our 2012 Goal wich was to push The Myth to 900hp + for this
year. Boost is at 48psi -49psi on
the Pte 6766, the engine is the BR 2.0 and the turbo Kit also is a BR 6766, the car was build and
tuned by us at Mellon Racing on C16.

Trying out the new JMF Drag sheet metal intake manifold, tune needs some
tweaking for that larger plenum over the Magnus but it was still running in
the mid 9's.

EDIT: Cars torn down for some maintenance & it had a blown headgasket, a
STOCK head, and a few other small issues. Once it is back together it will

Precision Turbo PT6766 compared to the Ebay T70 + installation and tuning
I just recieved my new Precision turbo
Billet Wheel 505-6766 with .96 A/R and T4 flange. It is a work of ART!
This thing spools up instantly and stays spooled longer than my ebay T70
ever dreamed of. The ebay turbo held up
great for 11k miles but it never responded like the new Precision does.
Now I'm working out the bugs in the car to take advantage of the new-found
air supply. I had to greatly increase fueling at all Boost levels to get the AFR back down to 10.9.
And the sound of this thing is nothing short of amazing!
Engine is a stock (polished) tpi intake, mildly ported L98 aluminum heads,
8.6:1 cmpression, 224/224 @ .050" hydraulic roller comp cams custom grind
and SRP -24cc dish pistons.

Doing some testing on a few new things hoping to push into the very low
On the last run car really broke loose in third near the 1000ft mark.
Car has run a best to date of 9.403 @152.61, 1.373 60ft.
6766 CEA TURBO GMC SYCLONE
Testing out the new 6766 CEA turbo from
Precision. Target Boost was 29/30
psi. I was only able to make 24/25psi because of the ext wastegate pushing
open. Stiffer spring is on order from RPM. Times were 7.37 at 99.1 MPH with
1.65 60ft. 28 degrees of timing, 100% meth with M8 nozzle, Torco
accelerator mixed with 93. Stock cammed longblock. Also to be noted! This
track runs uphill which leads to generally slower times of aprox 2/3 tenth
compared to other tracks. Even with the unfavorable track conditions, 1/8th
MPH looks very promising at 99 mph. Im shooting for traps at 101 1/8th with
the higher Boost!. Truck is going to
Silver Dollar 1/4 at the end of April for Muscle Evolution event. Truck was
Tuned by RPM / NOLAN by 16 position multi chip..
