1969 Pontiac Firebird
www.coyoteclassics.com 1969 Pontiac Firebird: Built 350, 3 speed automatic transmission, power steering, power disk brakes, 400 hood, emblems, hood and in dash tachometer, TA fender scoops along with rear spoiler, new American racing rims, with RWL tires, and headers with dual Exhaust. This Beautiful street machine under went a full sub frame off rotisserie restoration with a full photo album of every stage of restoration this car had and was completed in 1998. One day after completion it took best of show in a Florida car show. It was a complete car that was taken down to the bare shell and every nut and bolt was removed. The motor, transmission, and rear end was also all rebuilt with a mild cam in engine, shift kit in the transmission, and a 10 bolt possi with 342 gears in the rear. This car screams muscle and still looks great today! The paint is still in great shape with a laser straight body and a brilliant finish. The interior in done very nicely with an exception of the dash, in my opinion takes away from the rest of the restoration. The floors, frame, suspension, and trunk are all very solid and nice. This is a car that is ready to jump in and turn heads!

The Firebird was introduced the same year as the automaker's platform-sharing model, the Chevrolet Camaro. The first generation Firebirds had a characteristic Coke bottle styling. Unlike its cousin, the Chevrolet Camaro, its bumpers were integrated into the design of the front end and its rear "slit" taillights were inspired by the Pontiac GTO. Both a two-door hardtop and a convertible were offered through the 1969 model year. The 1969 model received a major facelift with a new front end design made of an Endura bumper housing the headlights and grilles. The instrument panel and steering wheel were revised. The ignition switch was moved from the dashboard to the steering column with the introduction of GM's new locking ignition switch/steering wheel. VIN 223379U100518 This beautiful Firebird runs nice and strong. It came out of Michigan and has had a body off rebuild. The car has never been races, but is a very fun driver that gets the looks! It has won several 1st place trophies and awards in its class at local car shows.
