Luego de la Segunda Guerra Mundial en la que tuvo participación en el mantenimiento del parque de automóviles de su unidad de regimiento decidió comprar justamente estos vehículos que el cuidaba y mantenía con el fin convertirlos a tractores logrando así un éxito inesperado. Sin dudas el beneficio que le birndaron los "Tractores Lamborghini" fue su gran salto y su gran atino. Por eso al poco tiempo que había comenzado con la venta y fabricación de los mismos se coloca un taller de dimensiones nada generosas en la ciudad de Cento. Allí continuaría y progresaría aún mas con la producción de sus tractores. El tiempo corre y la expansión de Ferruccio se vuelve un hecho, no sólo los tractores se tornaban beneficiosos sino que también los calentadores y aires acondicionados que brindaba en sus nuevos modelos. Pero no todo salió como le gustaba a Ferruccio Lamborghini, en poco tiempo se quería dedicar a la fabricación de otras de sus pasiones, los helicópteros, pero estos sueños se ven completamente aniquilados cuando se le es negada una concesión gubernativa que le permitiría llevar adelante este proyecto. ( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The brand new 2014 GMC Sierra broke cover today in Detroit. The new GMC pickup features three engine choices just like it's Chevy brother the Silverado. But while the both pickup offer more manly helping of boxy and squared jawed testosterone, the GMC Sierra seems to have had a double helping of morning Wheaties. Bold and rugged certainly describe the design language of the Sierra which now features a slowly opening back lift gate that won't slam down when you pop it open. GMC Sierra All Terrain HD Concept revealed
GMC has unveiled the Sierra All Terrain HD concept, ahead of its debut at the North American International Auto Show.
Designed to be one of the most capable trucks ever created, the All Terrian is a Sierra HD on steroids. Compared to the standard model, the concept is shorter, wider, and taller. Furthermore, it has been equipped custom control arms, Fox off-road shocks, front/rear jounce shocks, automatic locking differentials, and a beefy front stabilizer bar with electric disconnection.
In terms of styling, the concept features a massive grille, bulging fender flares, LED lights and 20-inch aluminum wheels with 35-inch BFGoodrich KM2 tires. Out back, the bed has a composite liner and two compartments which house an air compressor and a 110-volt outlet.
While no interior pictures were released, GM says the cabin has two-tone leather seats, satin chrome trim, and a next-generation navigation system with an 80 GB hard drive.
Power is provided by a Duramax 6.6-liter V8 diesel engine with 397 hp (296 kW) and 765 lb-ft (1,037 Nm) of torque. Performance specifications weren't released, but GM estimates the All Terrain would have a payload capacity of 2,700 pounds (1,225 kg) and a towing capacity of 13,000 pounds (5,896 kg).
