Everyone knows about the first and second generation Eclipse. They have created a cult like following in the tuner world. Mitsubishi hoped to keep that passion alive when they released the third generation Eclipse, but failed miserably. The major complaint was that it was underpowered. You would think they would fix it by the 4th generation of Eclipse.

2012 Mitsubishi Eclipse SE (Special Edition) Review
This is just an overview of the vehicle, and my point of view about it.
Personally, I believe the Eclipse deserves to stay on the assembly line until at least 2017. I mean, come on! This was Mitsubishi's popular sportscar! The only time Mitsubishi went on the wrong track with this car (or should I say, all their cars) was in 2003.
