DeLorean #3352 restoration www.delorean.co.uk
This video is cut together from the footage I shot over the course of
restoring #3352 from a barn-find in Ohio to a UK registered car with 2.5
Renault turbo engine. I stripped down
and rebuilt so much that it's easier for me to list the things I didn't do:
I didn't remove the doors, the glass, the left front fender or the wiring
The engine was assembled from a donor from a crashed Alpine GTA, but the
ancillaries (turbo, chargecooler, engine
management, Exhaust, intake manifold)
were taken from an earlier conversion which had been abused and whose
engine was totally worn out after approx 20,000 miles. This is why not
everything is new and shiny.
Saab 2-stroke barn find
This car had been stored in a barn for nearly 30 years when I found it, and
with good help from my son and a friend organized a rescue operation in the
August 2012. Here is what happened that sunny day south-east in Norway.

Barn Find: Classic Porsche 912 Restoration -- /DRIVE CLEAN

Today's story is about a true barn find. The car in question is a 1966
Porsche 912, which was last registered 23 years ago. We discovered the car
thanks to our friend Roger Garbow, from Full Throttle Marketing. He had
received a call about the car's discovery and immediately forwarded the
info to us, here at Drive Clean. Address in hand, we turned our crews
around and headed-off to a northern region of Connecticut where we
unearthed and restored this classic car. Watch as we assess our find,
remove years of accumulated filth and grime, and initiate the paint
correction phase on this 912's "Irish Green" shell.
