Bob Lutz introduces VL Automotive to the world

Former GM vice chairman and one of the fathers of the Chevrolet Volt, Bob Lutz announced VL Automotive at the 2013 North American International Auto Show. Lutz and his partner Gilbert Villarreal have arranged to purchase rolling chassis from Fisker Automotive and ship them to Auburn Hills, MI. In place of the extended range electric powertrain used in the Fisker Karma, VL will install supercharged LS9 V8 engines from the Corvette ZR1.
