1954-65 VW Beetle & Ghia Complete Lowering Kit Over ...
This is the most complete lowering kit on the market. It comes with the following: One Ultimate Narrowed Beam of your choice, new torsion springs, new tie rods with out ends, new drop spindles, new link pins, new king pins, and lowered shocks front/rear. The Ultimate Beam comes raw, (non painted, unless ordered otherwise) with adjusters installed equipped with delrin bushings, grease zerks and hardware for shocks and adjusters.
Recommendations
If your wheels are touching your fenders on turns, check out the article, "How do you lower your VW the right way?" before deciding on purchasing a beam. If everything checks out okay, our most popular configuration is a 4" Ultimate Beam Lowering kit powder coated satin black. With this set up, you can fit most sets of wheels, disc brakes, air ride in the future and it will be coated for a long lasting finish.
Applications
This kit fits 1949-65 Beetles and Ghias.
Why an Ultimate Beam?
Do you need to lift or lower your front end? Are your wheels scrubbing the fenders? Did you add some disc brakes or drop spindles on your ride and now they stick out? Are you trying to achieve a certain look? If any of these questions pertain to a need that you have, then The Ultimate Narrowed Beam is your answer. The Ultimate Narrowed Beam has about seven inches of adjustability so you can fine tune where you want your car. Because of the adjuster we use, you can adjust your car up and down by 1/16th inch increments. That means you can get the exact height and look you are after. If your wheels are sticking out after a disc brake addition, installing drop spindles or after installing a new set of wheels, The Ultimate Narrowed Beam is the product to remedy this issue. We can narrow a beam up to 4" with shock towers and no body modifications. The inside dimension is 29 13/16". That gives a clearance of 1/16" on each side.

1971 VW Karmann Ghia Convertible for Sale
Visit http://www.sunsetclassics.com/1971-karmann-ghia-convertible/ to see this great barn find - a 1971 VW Karmann Ghia Convertible sold by Sunset Classics.
This cute little Ghia has lived in a barn for the past 24 years! It is happy to be in my garage with other good VW company, but I already have a yellow Ghia Convertible so this one is up for sale. The long-time owner said he took the car out every year to keep things fresh. When I looked at the car he admitted it had been 3 years since it had been driven. The barn was on a dirt road way out in the Minnesota prairie. It was a fun find. Convertible Karmann Ghias are definitely one of my favorite barn finds for a classic car.
