Installation of a Refurbish Turbo (Brand New Core) and New Oil Feed Lines for a Ford XR6 Turbo
turbocharger Failed due to; In most cases its either the oil filter ( at the base of the turbo oil feed line/engine ) is blocked due to poor service or incorrect oil used. I suggest a replacement s/steel braided teflon oil feed line and an external filter which will help preserve turbo life! The factory Ford turbo oil filters require replacement every 10,000 km's and they're very hard to access and service.
GTX3576R on BF XR6 Turbo. UNTUNED
Just finished installing a GTX3576R on a .82 Rear housing (stock is 1.06). Wastegate not set up properly. Only light throttle application to keep Boost down as well as running old tune for stock turbo. Valve springs, Injectors and sorted out Boost control needed before tune. Current mods. Plazmaman plenum Plazmaman 4inch intake Plazmaman surge tank with 044 pump Rapidsystems BIG Intercooler Xforce 4inch dump, 3.5inch Exhaust 42lb Bosch 968 injectors Stock long motor, Stock ZF tune, 340kw tune for stock turbo.
