Talking Cars with Consumer Reports #52: 2014 Reliability Results: The Winners and Losers
With over one million vehicles spanning back a decade, Consumer Reports' annual reliability survey gives us plenty to talk about. Once again, most reliable brand status goes to Lexus and Toyota. For a change, some good news for GM: they're the most reliable domestic automaker. Ford rebuilds after a crop of extensive - and unreliable - redesigns. Fiat-Chrysler struggles with the problematic Jeep Cherokee and Grand Cherokee. Not all Japanese brands are reliable; Mazda and Subaru do well with launching reliable cars. Nissan is in a deep slump, with the Altima proving unreliable in its second year and problems at Infiniti. Audi makes the top five most reliable brand list, but Mercedes-Benz gets drug down by the CLA and S-Class. We wrap up by looking at the latest reliability info on the Tesla Model S.

2006-2013 Land Rover Range Rover Sport Review | Consumer Reports
Despite its name, the Range Rover Sport is based on Land Rover's LR3. It is biased towards on-road handling with suppressed body lean, but lacks the sporty handling of some competitors. The Range Rover Sport is pleasant to drive. But its heavy weight hurts fuel economy and acceleration.

2007-2012 Lexus ES Review from Consumer Reports
The Lexus ES is a luxurious sedan that specializes in a posh interior and quiet, smooth ride. Fuel economy is relatively good. Don't expect the ES to be fun to drive though. We've taken a first drive of the new Lexus ES: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GOpsFg2H_S8

Land Rover Discovery 4 SUV review - CarBuyer
Land Rover Discovery 2014 review: http://bit.ly/JYdVCt Subscribe to the Carbuyer YouTube channel: http://bit.ly/17k4fct Subscribe to Auto Express: http://subscribe.autoexpress.co.uk/cb The '4' part of the Discovery's name refers to the fact it's the fourth version of a car that has improved in giant leaps since 1998. The latest Discovery looks much like the third edition, but it's actually in a different league for cabin quality. What's more, the 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine is a real gem, it's powerful yet quiet and very smooth. Land Rover calls its Discovery 'the world's most versatile car' and it's hard to fault that claim. Of course, you'll pay handsomely for that versatility, but few cars combine off-road prowess with practicality and luxury feel the way the Discovery does. Do you own this car? Let us know what you think about it with the Driver Power Survey http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/front_website/driverpower/2011

Land Rover Discovery 4 / LR4 Review (with Off Road) [HD]
The fourth generation Discovery 4 was launched in 2009, and went on sale in the United Kingdom on 1 September. Compared with the 2.7 litre TDV6 engine, which continues to be offered on the Discovery 4, the new TDV6 3.0 litre twin turbo diesel engine delivers a 9% fuel economy improvement (EU combined cycle) and 10% lower CO2 emissions, at the same time as increasing power by 28% to 241 bhp (180 kW); torque increases 36% to 600 N·m (440 lb·ft). The results include a 060 mph time of 9.0 seconds, (0100 km/h in 9.6 seconds), a 24% improvement over the 2.7 litre model. The new engine has been optimised for low-end torque as well as economy, making it possible to activate the lock-up clutch of the ZF HP-28 automatic transmission at lower speed. This reduces 'slip' in the hydraulic torque converter improving both fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The higher torque at lower engine speeds also enables longer gearing for more economical cruising.

2012 Land Rover LR4 Test Drive & SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/land-rover/lr4/2012/?id=32972 Land Rover makes some of the most capable off-road vehicles in the world. In fact the Land Rover has been navigating the toughest terrain for decades. So can the 2012 Land Rover LR4 adapt to suburban life? Well the Land Rover LR4 is very comfortable, it is easy to drive, has plenty of power, and can seat up to 7 passengers. The base price on the 2012 Land Rover LR4 is $48,900 with the top of the line HSE LUX model going for $58,995. The 2012 Land Rover LR4 is powered by a 5.0 liter V-8 direct injected engine that produces 375 horsepower and 375 lb-ft. of torque. Power is transferred to the wheels through a 6-speed ZF automatic transmission. The Land Rover LR4 sports full time AWD. Fuel economy is 12 MPG in the city and 17 MPG on the highway. The AWD system is pretty technologically advanced which is why Land Rover SUVs are considered the best off-road vehicles the world over. The LR4 features Hill Descent Control which allows the vehicle to navigate steep terrain without the driver needing to use the brake or accelerator. The Gradient Release Control also works with the HDC to provide a smooth pace downhill. The Electronic Traction Control supplies power to the wheel that needs it most in the even of slippage. At each corner of the SUV there is a sophisticated air suspension. This is used to either lower the LR4 for street use or to raise the SUV almost 5 inches for maximum ground clearance while off-road. Dynamic Stability Control improves the LR4's handing while on the road. Tall SUVs are known to roll over but the Roll Stability Control System works to keep all 4 wheels on the road. The 2012 Land Rover LR4 has a towing capacity of 7,700 lbs. To help prevent trailer sway the LR4 has something called Trailer Stability Assist to help correct any towing problems. Besides the great off-road capabilities the 2012 Land Rover LR4 comes packed with tons of luxury features and option on the inside. The seats are wrapped in high-end leather as are many of the interior surfaces. You can choose between a Walnut trim or a Black Lacquer trim. The driver sits in an optimum position so that they have a commanding view of the road. The huge sunroof is called the Alpine Roof and provides tons of light to all the passengers. A 7-inch touch screen navigation unit and Harmon/Kardon stereo system are wonderful features. The 2012 Land Rover LR4 love to hit the trail and take on tough off-road challenges. But this SUV is more than capable being your daily luxury SUV driver. See More Car Videos http://www.autobytel.com/car-videos/?id=32972 Join Our Facebook Page http://www.facebook.com/autobytel
