2001 Dodge Dakota SLT 4x4 Modifications
Created for Professor A. Marcum Writing I class. Project 5 with the topic of Trucks. My truck was the inspiration for all my other papers during this semester. All modifications that are from other people and companies are labeled accordingly in the credits. Also, the song used by Dashboard Confessional is given credit in the Credits. My Truck is: 2001 Dodge Dakota SLT Quad Cab 4x4 in Intense Blue w/ Silver Two-tone Paint. Has the 4.7L V8 which is programmed with SuperChip and has the 545rfe Mod. Most other modifications are listed in video.
2011 Dodge Ram 2500 HD Laramie Longhorn Cummins Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Tour
In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie Longhorn Cummins turbo Diesel. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this truck while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. Dakota Sport Walk Around Pt. 2 "New Look"
Earlier this year I hit a deer on my dakota messing up the front end of the truck. So I took this oppurtunity to change up the look a bit. I added a cowl hood, stillen bumper cover, and R/Tmods side skirts. I also had the tailgate repainted. The smoked head and fog lights were destroyed in the accident and they ones I had are no longer available so I went with the euro clear lights. Also from the last video I ditched the 255/35 Kumhos for some 255/40 Nitto 420s tires. Inside is the same except for the new Panasonic 7" LCD Flip Out.

The look, sound, and fitment is excellent, as was the price. The system sounds a bit louder in the video than in real life. It's not too loud or too quiet. Inside the car, it's nearly silent at idle. It's mellow under part throttle and has a nice bark at full throttle.
Overall, I'm very happy with the Exhaust system.

This video shows JMR's most basic suspension kit, which consists of:
-Front differential drop brackets
-Extended height steering knuckles
-Cross member drop brackets to drop lower control arms
-Coilover drop brackets
-Extended length DOT stainless steel brake lines
-4" blocks and extended U-bolts in the rear
-Rancho RS9000XL rear shocks
-Front differential skid plate
-Skid plate that spans between the cross member drop brackets
(The truck in the video is being tested with Fabtech Dirt Logic shocks in the rear and does not have either skid plate in place.)
Thanks for viewing our first video, we know it's nothing special and DOES NOT show the truck's full capability so there will be many more videos to come. This was a preliminary test ensuring shocks, spacers, drop brackets, and brake lines are of proper length and allow full range of motion.
