National Trails Raceway in the 63 Grand Prix. One last time before winter
gets here. It's no race car but is a full restoration of a base 389- 303
hp car so mid 15s isn't all that bad. Maybe some 100 octane unleaded next
time and get the timing back where it should be plus launch it a little

5.7L V8 engine and a stunning new paint job.
The monstrous hood scoops and huge air vents added to the all black

Pontiac Banshee A Longer Look
The Banshee was a vision for what the Firebird could become. Of course,
this concept car could never be built exactly, too low on the road and it
wouldn't pass the safety and crash tests, but it was exciting. It
demonstrated that the problem with GM cars didn't sit on the designers'
shoulders. They were more than capable of dreaming up engaging and fun
vehicles that would set imaginations on fire.
1963 Pontiac LeMans Convertible
Nice car that looks like it's in fairly original condition with the
exception of the floor shifter. Pontiac had an ingenious way to develop a
4 cylinder engine based on the engine in this car..it simply chopped an
entire cylinder bank off the engine. This car has the 326 c.i. V8. The
transmission was located toward the rear of the car as a way to make the
car inherently more balanced.

1972 Pontiac LeMans Sport - Test drive
I pick out this 72 Lemans for a friend of mine in Norway. He wanted to take
a 3 week American Holiday Cruise with his family in California, Nevada and
Arizona.. I had less than a month to find a decent "collector car" that
would not fail him out on this vacation drive in June. I found this car
that had been pretty well cared for and freshened up by the ASE Certified
Mechanic owner. The Pontiac 350 has been replaced with a Chevy 350. It has
headers, Flowmaster Exhaust, recent
interior, vinyl top and all new weatherstrips. It did GREAT on the tour!
Now it is For Sale, but if not sold will be shipped to my guy in Norway. If
you are interested in buying the car for 8500, hurry-- If it is to be
shipped over, I need to do it in the next couple months.
Big Cubic Inch 1963 Pontiac Le Mans
Frank Scorcia's 1963 Pontiac Lemans. 600 cubic inch tall deck aftermarket
block, Molodex crank, Oliver rods, Ross pistons, Edelbrock heads modified
by JBP racing. T&D shaft rockers, Wenzler intake Speed -Pro fuel
Hughes Transmissions 34-3X turbo 400
with custom Hughes converter from APS racing.
RJ Fabrication built 9" rear end with 35 spline axles, spool, 4.11 gears
and Strange Engineering disc brakes.
RJ Fabrication custom tube chassis, headers, 4"Exhaust, sheet metal, suspension, cooling
system, plumbing and wiring.
Car is still under construction and should be completed summer of 2012.

1963 Pontiac LeMans convertible
Beauty! This blue color was common at the time..most manufacturers offered
a version of it! Notice the character creases in the rear quarter and the
trim that accentuates the fenders. Some versions of the car had the 326
c.i. engine as this one does..others had a V8 engine essentially cut in
half and offered as a four cylinder model (195 c.i.). The transmission was
aft, and a flexible driveline connected it to the engine. A good example
of how engineering experimentation was alive and well at GM during this
