My Lincoln Mark VIII with sequential tail lights
Update: Because I have been asked so many questions about it, there is a complete write up here:
http://www.torquebook.com/forum/electrical-interier-and-hvac/485-mark-viii-sequential-lights-installation
Added sequential tail lights to the Mark VIII last night. Back in the day, I had a 67 Tbird and I had two friends with 69 Tbirds and I have always missed those sequential lights. In my opinion is is the way the Mark VIII should have come from the factory. It really suits the car.

1998 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC
This has a Intech 4.6L 32 Valve DOHC V8 making 290 HP while paired to a 4 Speed Auto. It's essentially a Cobra V8 & also the same engine from my 2002 Continental only in my car it's detuned & in FWD.
This model began in 1993 until the Final year made in 1998. The Mark is known to be the first Production Vehicle to offer HID ( High Intensity Discharge ) Headlamps.
The Marks biggest issue was with the 4 wheel Air Ride suspension which was prone to early failure & it is a costly repair. Many owners resorted to Coil Spring conversion but it really killed the Marks Smooth ride.
Abes Lincoln - 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII LSC 32 Valve DOHC 4.6 V8 Hot Rod Luxury
In honor of President Lincoln's birthday, February 12th, I thought I'd post this video of his namesake, the Lincoln Mark VIII. When Henry Leland started Lincoln Motor Company in 1917, he named it after our famous President. This Lincoln has the monochromatic trim all the way around, an elegant leather interior, and a 32 Valve DOHC 4.6 V8 under the hood. These cars really do offer luxury and performance in one complete package. Perhaps it would be the choice of our beloved President, if he were still alive today. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching!

Mark VIII Attitude '07
For those of you who might be interested in what has been going on with the Mark VIII since the last video...
I think I finally have it close to where I want it.. a car that has great acceleration, that I can drive to a client's location and not have any raised eyebrows and that I can wear jeans in without feeling out of place. I wanted a do-everything car, a gentleman's hot rod. And I have it with my Lincoln Mark VIII
