A 1/4 mile ride in Joel Nystroms Hemi 4 speed GTX
Mike Kamm sat in the back seat of my 67 Plymouth GTX, an original 30,000 mile Hemi 4 speed car, while I carefully baby it down Norwalks 1/4 mile dragstrip. This pass was run on original style G70-14 bias ply tires, so there was tire spin. Thats why I had to back pedal a little in 1st and the shift light never went off in 2nd. I had the light set to come on at 6500 rpm, but wasn't shifting untill 7000. This was a mid 11 second pass at about 124 mph. Check it out from behind the car: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snKfkP8nqg4

Mega Mopar - Huge Car Show Drag Racing Burnouts - Supercharged Action at Gateway MSP
Be sure to check us out on Facebook at: https://www.facebook.com/RamblinAroundTV This past weekend Jordan and I went to Mega Mopar at Gateway Motorsports Park and it was awesome! They had a huge car show, a swap meet, nostaglia drags, funny cars, a wheelstander, and more. We really had a great time! I tried to pack as much action into the video as I could. There was a sea of awesome Mopars....Daytonas, Challengers, Chargers, Darts, Super Bees...the list goes on and on. It was a weekend filled with hemis, wedges, Superchargers, and dual carbs. If you were there, and your car is not in this video, please don't dispair....I will have much more coverage coming up in the days ahead. I hope you found it interesting....thanks for watching! Dirt Cheap Rat Rod! 1968 Charger Buildup and Thrash - Roadkill Ep. 23
Freiburger and Finnegan think this is the best episode so far! It's the longest, too. This show has it all: a Mad-Max-vibe 1968 Dodge Charger built with motorhome parts, sideways Dukes-style action, lots of low-buck wrenching, hilarious snafus, and cameo appearances by the Macho Grande from episode 8, the '66 Buick Special convertible from a pre-Roadkill episode, the ramp truck from episode 20, and the Fury from episode 22. Enjoy the last Roadkill of 2013! a ride in a 1971 426 hemi charger last426
This is my pride and joy. The last year of the 426 hemi. I am the second owner and, as the movie will embarrassingly show, I treat this car like a cupcake. It is grandma's hemi with column shift 727. I asked why the original owner ordered it with that and he said, "just to save money." The car cost about 5,000 with about 1,000 of that the engine and "required" options. It is absolutely stock and now even has 14 x 6 black wheels on it. Only 47,000 miles on this beauty and you can see more of it at http://www.marlia.com. Here is a video of the engine http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tl2e1NIcBFs and yes, the car weighs around 4,100 pounds.

426 Hemi in a '55 Chevy! Roadkill Episode 8
On this episode of Roadkill, HOT ROD's David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan hit the road on a quest to build a car they've both dreamed of for years: a '55 Chevy Bel Air sedan set up like a '60s Gasser and powered by a Mopar 426 Hemi. The guys drag out a '73 GMC Suburban that they'd never driven more than around the block (did you expect anything else?), then use it to pick up a bare '55 Chevy body in California before heading north for the 1,000-mile trip to Lincoln City, Oregon. That's the home of Jim Meyer Racing, the chassis builder that helps the guys turn the '55 into a wicked looking hot rod in a single day. There's no fail in this episode of Roadkill! Well, at least nothing terminal.
