This is the start and the first few laps of the Saturday race. Fun start, potentially fun race, but about halfway in, my right rear tire started losing air due to a bad O-ring in the valve stem. I tried to hang on until the finish of the race and then less than 2 laps from the end, I lost all power and coasted to a stop off the track. I had to be towed in. I sat in the car for maybe 15 minutes until getting towed and it was 143 degrees in the car. Ugh... I didn't get to race on Sunday because Archer and Dodge were unable to identify the problem. Fortunately, it was a short drive back to DFW from TWS.

This video is from the Viper Racing League Invitational Race at Miller Motorsports Park. What makes it interesting is the Whelen Engineering Rolex GT car piloted by Eric Curran as well as 3 other Whelen Rolex and World Challenge cars were entered. Eric's car had a mechanical DNF on Saturdays race but he lit up the track on Sunday. However, the SMS Corvette won the Saturday race and was 1st in qualifying so all that was needed on Sunday was to finish ahead of the Vipers to get the overall win. NARRA - Sunday Race @ Motorsport Park Hastings - August 7th, 2011
This is the Sunday race in-car video from rolling start to checkered flag. I started on tires which had 2 qualifyings and 1 race already on them and the tires began to fall off about halfway into the race. I just tried to hang on and not do anything stupid and not lose the lead. I'm glad the race didn't go any more laps because the tires were really getting greasy. :)

NARRA USGT Race #1 @ Road Atlanta
This is my in-car video of the full race (well, full race for me) at Road Atlanta during the NARRA USGT Race #1. I blew a rod bearing in the 10th lap and watched from the side of the track in turn 5 for the duration of the race. I was terrified of Road Atlanta at first. But, by this race, I was getting more comfortable with it. Too bad I didn't get to race on Sunday. I really need to bring an extra motor with me just in case.

Virginia might be for lovers, but July 6-8, 2012 it was for lovers of high-performance sportscars as the North American Road Racing Association took to the twists and turns of Virginia International Raceway.
As the temperature soared so did the on-track action, no more so than in the US GT Championship where heated battles led to a fiery finish. Meanwhile rivals Vette and Viper, STi and Evo, battled it out in the Whelen USTTC.

700hp Z06 - Texas World Speedway
