This is the start and the first few laps of the Saturday race. Fun start, potentially fun race, but about halfway in, my right rear tire started losing air due to a bad O-ring in the valve stem. I tried to hang on until the finish of the race and then less than 2 laps from the end, I lost all power and coasted to a stop off the track. I had to be towed in. I sat in the car for maybe 15 minutes until getting towed and it was 143 degrees in the car. Ugh... I didn't get to race on Sunday because Archer and Dodge were unable to identify the problem. Fortunately, it was a short drive back to DFW from TWS.

Texas World Speedway (TWS) - 2.9mi CCW
The video starts with my best lap from the weekend, then continues (@
03:00) with various highlights, antics, and pictures from the event.
In 2014 I am trying to knock the dust off my driving skills after only
having the Lotus at the track 3 times in 2013, and one time in 2014 before
this trip. It really makes a difference if you don't practice often!
We have had a camera in the car at most of the driving events we have
attended. Every year or so I create highlight videos of all the events on
BlueRay for myself and my friends. However, since this might have been my
last opportunity to take the 4 hour drive down from Dallas to attend an
event at Texas World Speedway (TWS) I am posting this video to YouTube due
to its nostalgic content.
It was announced early in 2014 that TWS will be re-developed into a
neighborhood. At the time of this writing it is uncertain if we will get
to drive at TWS in 2015. Do yourself a favor and search the Internet for
historical TWS information. You will soon realize why it is tragic that we
are losing this historic track.

NARRA - Sunday Race @ Motorsport Park Hastings - August 7th, 2011
This is the Sunday race in-car video from rolling start to checkered flag.
I started on tires which had 2 qualifyings and 1 race already on them and
the tires began to fall off about halfway into the race. I just tried to
hang on and not do anything stupid and not lose the lead. I'm glad the race
didn't go any more laps because the tires were really getting greasy. :)
Jason Hart: McLaren P1 New Texas World Speedway Track Record 1:45.837
This is a New Track Record at TWS for an OEM street tire, street legal,
showroom stock vehicle. Joey Todd who handles the record keeping was on
hand and verified the event, Thanks Joey. I must admit the Trofeo R's do
very well, but the pressure the P1 puts on them makes for a tidy lap or you
risk putting too much heat in them resulting in loss of lap time. The P1
hit a sustained peak G of 1.79 in Turn 7!!! Most impressive for a 245 front
tire even with the uphill compression of the car. I am beyond impressed
with the aero, drive train and overall engineering of this car. The point
which gets the most respect ahead of all others is the owners desire to
track this car with commitment...it is a great opportunity to be chosen and
trusted with such resources and for that I am also Thankful beyond words. I
hope you enjoy the video if you watch it...J
NARRA USGT Race #1 @ Road Atlanta
This is my in-car video of the full race (well, full race for me) at Road
Atlanta during the NARRA USGT Race #1. I blew a rod bearing in the 10th lap
and watched from the side of the track in turn 5 for the duration of the
race. I was terrified of Road Atlanta at first. But, by this race, I was
getting more comfortable with it. Too bad I didn't get to race on Sunday. I
really need to bring an extra motor with me just in case.
Texas World Speedway - The Oval
Texas World Speedway was a NASCAR oval track, but is no longer used for
that. Unfortunately there was an metal to metal accident during our
session. We got to drive on the oval to drive around the accident and get
back to the paddock.
The condition is not so hot. It is also unnerving to drive the bank at such
slow speeds. As you can hear I was properly nervous while heading around
700hp Z06 - Texas World Speedway
C6 Z06 running at the HPD track day at Texas World Speedway. This car is
making around 700hp at the flywheel. Sorry about the wind noise, I'm going
to start recording audio from inside the car with a digital recorder so the
sound will be much better.

This is during the "qualfying" rounds that some of us took part in during
the TX2K13 DE at Texas World Speedway. This was my fastest lap ever at TWS.

Sorry I mounted it last minute...
