Why you always have to pay attention on the Autobahn (see description)
This white van driver wanted to go directly from the Autobahn entrance to
the left lane without looking into the side mirror at first. I flashed him
and at the last moment he changed his mind.
A personal remark to all the smart-asses out there: Yes, I'm driving fast
in the video but it's perfectly legal, because at that point there is NO
speed limit. German Autobahn is without a general speed limit. And yes,
that was a crititical situation - which was defused by me. Nothing
happened. Nothing at all.
But for those, who like to bitch about me being too fast and speed being a
killer anyway, here are some statistical numbers. Source of the numbers is
- In 2011, 31 % of all traffic in Germany went on Autobahns. Yet only 6.4 %
of all accidents happened there and only 11.3 % of deaths on the road
- Of those 11.3 % of all dead people in Germany, 47.1 % were truck and van
drivers. Only 14.2 % were car drivers. Should tell you something about
who's driving worst here.
- In contrast to that, 60.9 % of all fatal accidents in Germany happened on
country roads, where a general speed limit of 100 km/h exists.
In conclusion, the Autobahn, thanks to good maintenance and an in general
good behaviour of traffic participants, is one of the safest roads in the
world - despite the lack of a general speed limit.
The average speed on the Autobahn is about 120 km/h, which makes a speed
limit unncessary anyway. All demands for introducing a speed limit so far
failed at the attempt, because there is absolutely no rational reason to
If you want to know my opinion: It is legal to drive fast on the Autobahn.
If certain people can't deal with that, feel unsafe or insecure because of
that, they are unfit for using the Autobahn in my book.

This is a short documentary I made for a class. Using mostly my own found
footage, I give a commentary on "Sleepers" and my own personal experiences
This video was intended to tell a story and be mildly entertaining/funny.
No one in this film thinks they drive the fastest car on the planet. We are
all aware of our limitations.

Vtec Integra picks fight with Camaro Z28
Stock Camaro can't
resist playing with the Integra... and fellas, don't take these YouTube
videos so personal, as any car can be made to run fast with enough money.
But this is just a typical mismatch of an underpowered Acura Integra trying
a car with more horsepower and torque from
the factory... and this is the slower version V8 Camaro that has the LT1 motor and
not the much stronger LS1 motor. Many younger newbies don't understand that
there is a "girls" version economy Camaro RS and the "mans" version
performance Camaro Z28.
So if you see Z28 or SS on the fenders, its not worth the embarrassment if
you are one of those that takes this crap too serious. But if you are one
of the fellas that understands horsepower and torque, its
all in good fun...
