virago 1100 custom
This bike was originally a 1989 virago 1100. When I got it it was stock,
and needed some TLC. I chopped the rear of the frame and fabbed up a new
rear section, got coilover adjustable shocks. I then lowered the frontend
1.5" and fabbed up a fender from a springer. The handle bars are clubman
style and all wiring is in the handle bars. The gas tank is 2 made into 1
as the tunnel was needed to fit the frame and the skin is off a 73 yamaha
650. The oil tank that is under the seat, isn't an oil tank but a reserve
fuel tank. This was so the bike had the same fuel vloume as stock, for
those long rides. Exhaust and intake
were fabbed up and are mandrel bent for better flow, 2 into 1 Exhaust.
Thanks for looking........ This is a fun bike to ride....... cheers!!

A Bit Different Yamaha Virago 535
(It is now undergoing a rebuild to be a Cafe Racer and can be followed in
this link: http://www.sporthoj.com/forum/showthread.php?t=228315)
I've done some changes to it and I'm quite happy about it. I've got a bit
into the cafe racer style but I don't have spece or time for an other bike
like a Honda CB so I racefyed my virago a little until I've got it sold or
swapped for a more suitable bike. I would like to put a turbo on it but I don't know if the engine can
take it so I think I'll skip that idea.
