My 1925 Ford Model T - Starting Safely & How to Change Gear
Enthusiasts Website: http://www.fordmodelt.net/ Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/modeltford/ I imported my 1925 Ford Model T from the USA, not far from Detroit, Michigan where it was built. In this video I demonstrate the T's unusual controls and how they all work, I show you how to start a Model T, and I take you on a short drive at the end. The Model T was manufactured between 1908 and 1927, and was know by various names including Tin Lizzie, Flivver, T‑Model Ford, or just 'T'. The Model T set 1908 as the historic year that the automobile became popular. It is generally regarded as the first affordable automobile, the car that opened travel to the common middle-class American; some of this was because of Ford's innovations, including assembly line production instead of individual hand crafting. On May 26, 1927, Henry Ford watched the 15 millionth Model T Ford roll off the assembly line at his factory in Highland Park, Michigan.

My 1925 Ford Model T - How to Start & How to Drive
Enthusiasts Website: http://www.fordmodelt.net/ Facebook Group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/modeltford/ Update 10 Aug 2012: My Model T has been fully restored, and I've just purchased a pair of carriage lights which the car was missing. Updated video to come. Update: "I MADE A MISTAKE!" 55psi only applies to clincher tyres on earlier Model T's. Since mine is a 1925 model and has split rims and balloon tyres, the correct tyre pressure is 35psi. ---------------------------------------------------- I imported my 1925 Ford Model T from the USA, not far from Detroit, Michigan where it was built. Hauling Hay with 1926 Ford Model TT 1 Ton Truck
Bringing in the hay with my 1926 Ford TT 1 ton truck. The truck has a New Zealand 'Colonial' built cab and deck. What use is a vintage truck if you can't use it? 12 December 2010 (I think over 60 bales of hay was the biggest load)

How to start up and drive a 1925 Ford Model T
While still in the Ely neighborhood of Fairlee, Vermont, we get a quick lesson on how to start up and drive a 1925 Ford Model T. I am not sure how comprehensive a lesson it is, but I think with a bit of practice, I could drive this car. Once the car is started, we take a drive down Old Federal Route 5, which has been truncated, since the new Route 5 was built in the 1930's. The road is also unpaved, which I am sure is the way its been for years. Imagine being on this road 80 years ago and seeing this car coming along down the road; this would have been a pretty common sight. At the end of the road, we turn around in a neighbors driveway, where we see a couple of newer, yet vintage, cars. I am not sure what the white car is, but the Chevrolet pick-up looks like it's from the 1960's. Enjoy the view from the car, as well as the lesson on starting and driving it. If you have any questions about the video, feel free to message me. Comments are welcome. The video was taken on August 25th, 2013.

First Start for 1923 Model T barn car
This '23 Model T had not been run in decades. Pulled the engine and gave it a full rebuild, then re- installed and overhauled the chassis with mostly used Model T parts. The car will be kept in the original rusty condition, as pulled from the barn......but she runs now! Last licensed in 1948, Ford Model T's like this were popular with farmers. This was originally a touring car, but the back seat part of the body and the convertible top was tossed, and a homemade wooden bed put on to carry produce to market.

My 1925 Ford Model T - A Closer Look: Transmission & Clutch
