74 Chevy Nova Update 18 - Big Block 454 V8 Engine Makeover
Here I show what I have done to the Big block 454 v8 engine that was in the 74 Nova. Though I have been working on the body, behind the scenes I have been also working on this engine. Now I reveal what I have done to it. Internally I replaced the oil pump as the engine was rebuilt by previous owner.

Turbo Iroc - engine swap part 9 - engine block paint prep and engine bay masking
Yet another step closer to completion. The weather is super muggy and progress is slow, but I still might get all of this stuff painted by Sunday night. A few tricks in this video showing how to prep an engine block for paint including masking and spraying self etching primer. My neighbor came over and taught me a cool trick to speed up masking the block.
Chevy Big Block Engine Starting
We just finished our new Chevy Big-Block engine, wich will soon find a home in our 1980 Camaro. It is just one of many BBC's that I have built. It is a "street friendly" 10:1 all forged, mechanical roller with too many goodies to list . It sounds crazy and I can't wait to feel the tire shreading performance.

Switched to the electronic distributor and it started right up. Just needs a little more "cam" to make it sound better. OH, AND I FOUND OUT IT IS A 2-BOLT MAIN,MY BAD!!

This is a short walk around of my project 1977 Chevy C10 SWB pickup. It is equipped with a very strong running 454 engine. It needs the Exhaust installed as it is currently only has open headers and the collectors are spinning when its running (you can hear it in the video) .
74 Chevy Nova Update 47 - Bare Metal Cowl Hood
Took off all of the E-coating down to bare metal on the Cowl hood. Did my minor body work and prepped for paint. With this being the last panel, I have officially taken the entire car down to bare metal!! (Every body panel)
