Mercedes has officially unveiled the 2014 S-Class at the Airbus A380 delivery center in Hamburg, Germany. Designed to become one of the most luxurious and advanced vehicles ever constructed, the 2014 S-Class has an evolutionary design that incorporates a sportier front fascia, a larger grille and a gentle slanting rear end. The sleek styling enables the model to have drag coefficient of 0.24 which is pretty impressive considering the pint-sized CLA has a drag coefficient of 0.23.

Januar feiern die Cabriolet- und Coupé-Versionen der neuen Mercedes E-Klasse ihre Weltpremieren. Die zweitürigen Varianten der E-Klasse überzeugen mit modernem Design, aber vor allem dank ihrer zukunftsweisenden Assistenzsysteme, die ein Vorgriff auf die in diesem Jahr erscheinende neue Mercedes S-Klasse sind. Während die Limousine und das T-Modell ab dem 13. April an die Kunden ausgeliefert werden, müssen die Interessenten der beiden zweitürigen Modelle noch bis Anfang Juni warten, ehe sie an die Kunden ausgeliefert werden. Wie bei den viertürigen Varianten sollen die Preise auf dem Niveau der Vorgängerversionen liegen. Also um die 47 000 Euro für das E 200 Cabriolet mit 135 kW/184 PS und rund 42 000 für das gleich motorisierte Coupé.
