Ever wonder what happens if you hit fuel cut at 26 PSI on a turbo RX-7? Watch me do it on accident while tuning.
For those wondering, I had the ECU set to 20 PSI expectation and wastegate to 26 PSI. ECU will go 3.5 PSI over its limits before it cuts the fuel. Small logical error can make a huge difference.
I got lucky. I attribute a large part of that to the pre turbo water injection keeping my knock low and combustion temps low while tuning.

Lamborghini Diablo vs. GTR R35 on dragstrip
It was my first time EVER running a quarter mile dragstrip. The car is a 12 second car stock. I am not a 12 second driver. The gated shifter messed me up when it was needed most.
Who else has ran the 1/4 mile and what times did you get? What advice would you give me?
I think im going to take my rx7 and do it more often. I dont want to break the Diablo trying to prove something.
Every gear is neutral on my RX-7 lol.
I blew the transmission on my 20B rx-7. Technically its not the gears inside the transmission, its the output shaft penis thing on the end. You can see it stuck in the drive shaft. I also (previously?) snapped the spine of the car, the powerplant frame.
This is the stock transmission on a 750 hp car lol. i aint mad
