Firts few steps of assembly. Rob and I prep the crank and block for assembly but find we was given the incorrect main bearing (did not seat correctly) my guess is they were for the N/a version of the 2.4l..Anyhow got cut short on the assembly on account of a simple part number. :\
Big Turbo Srt4 Dyno - 509trq/ 497whp - Gypsy street racing
509 trq 497hp on a Dynocom loaded eddy current Dyno...ALL STOCK 2.4l srt4 motor,head, cams,intake and clutch... turbo is a Precision 5857sp on 26.5 lbs of Boost running e85 fuel. Stopped the pulls @ only 5500rpm because im on stock clutch with over 500trq and I wanted to keep the clutch in one piece for just a lil longer. Car has plenty left in it and has alot of potential to get faster with some mods..500+whp and 509+ trq can easily be achieved as is with a good clutch and more rpm. Car weight is 2850 lbs . Gets over 30mpg on 93 octane. :)

SRT-4 DNA Motoring 3" Exhaust Review
A quick little review on the Exhaust I just picked up for my SRT-4. It's made by DNA Motoring - they can be found on eBay or directly at their site: http://dnamotoring.com/
Everyone is skeptical when people sell things like headers and Exhausts on eBay but not all names are bad. This Exhaust for $252 shipped included a 3" downpipe, which has a flex section, about 10" resonator and a spot for your o2 (I put my wideband there), and 3" the rest of the way out to a dual exit.
Overall I was very happy with my purchase. A whole Exhaust for $252 shipped? HELL YEAH. Build quality was pretty good, the metal is a bit thin but it's stainless so rust won't be a problem. The welds were acceptable. It sounds great and fitment is pretty good. Again, overall satisfaction is superb.
Real Drivers: Dodge Neon SRT4
Although Vermont teased us with warm weather last week, and many specialty vehicles emerged from their winter hibernation as a result, it cooled off quite a bit before this shoot could be arranged. But while this film of Andrew Corvo's sleeper SRT4 may be dotted with snowflakes instead of pollen, it's still an opportunity to learn about a very unique (and powerful) vehicle.

And finally we come to the main part of the machine shops job, honing the cylinder walls. It will do two things. First it will bring the cylinder walls to the matching diameter of the new pistons. Second it will leave a cross hatch pattern of light scratches, to keep oil on the walls and prevent metal on metal scraping. A dial bore gauge is used to bring it to the exact spec needed within 1/10,000th of an inch.
