1979 Porsche 928 FIRST DRIVE IN 20 YEARS!!!
The starter went out in 1993. The female owner parked the car in the back of her property til today. I removed said starter, had the solenoid replaced... Put the starter back in.Poured in some fresh gas, and after a hell of a valve-train noise it smoothed right out. It runs, drives, stops. But, is far from perfect. It sat for a LONG TIME. I'm astonished it started so easily. MORE VIDEOS OF THIS CAR TO COME AS WE BREATHE LIFE INTO IT!!! Drivetrain: 4.5 Liter V8, 5 speed manual, IRS rear end, four wheel disc brakes. 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S: The Most Capable Grand Tourer? Ignition Ep. 104
On this episode of Ignition, Jonny Lieberman has a go with perhaps the most capable grand touring car on the market, the new Porsche 911 turbo S. Combining 560 horsepower, upwards of 553 lb-ft of torque and several cows' worth of leather. Embarking on a cross continental trip in the dead of winter, Jonny begins in frosty Georgia and heads all the way back to Motor Trend's headquarters in Southern California. Along the way he traverses ten States, meets up with friends like Randy Pobst and John Hennessey, examines why Americans are so found of road trips and just generally enjoys the hell out of one of the quickest production cars on earth, the mighty 911 turbo S.
