Electric Supercharger ? 240v maybe a fun-Cheap Car Blower?
Readings shown are m.p.h. A mains 220-240 Volt blower from small Bouncy castle, given to me by a Neighbour, Air Velocity reached 51mph in shed earlier, with the exit vent was removed reached 56-62mph. Unsure of Volume of air moved probably too low, but I wonder if could give a small-moderate power Boost on smaller cars, running standard 9.5:1 Compression like mine, 30mph is 13.4 m/sec. When I attached it briefly to my 1.8Litre Ford, the tick over did rise significantly telling me it was certainly doing something! A cheap Chinese 500w Inverter could supply power from Cars Battery & small modifications (reducing grilling etc) could allow more air through.
