Spec Miata Mayhem at Roebling
Nothing like the start of a Spec Miata race for crazy excitement. People
get shuffled out of order and it takes a few laps to sort things out. Make
sure you see the action at 2:20.
This is 5 laps from the Sarrc Invitational Challenge, the championship race
for the SCCA Southeast Division at Roebling Road Raceway near Savannah, GA,
held October 9th, 2011.

Don Sanders driving and narrating (also with VIR co-developer Connie
Nyholm) - renovation was just starting - some trees had been cut down. One

SCCA National Races at Virginia International Raceway April 1968. 8mm movie

This video clip of the 1957 Sebring 12 Hours , without any original audio,
was taken from 16mm home movies of my father, Mario Levetto. The race was
won by the N.19 Maserati 450S driven by Fangio/Behra, 2 laps ahead of the
Maserati N. 20 driven by Moss/Schell. The Chevrolet Corvette SS N.1 driven
by Fitch/Villoresi lasted 23 laps.After appx. 4 minutes of the race, the
video includes appx. 2 minutes of the 1957 Torino Auto Show.

Orange Speedway 1957
The Orange Speedway in Hillsborough, North Carolina packed in the fans to
watch the Grand National Race as the stock cars took to the dirt to battle
for a rather small reward beyond the joy of winning.
Buck Baker took home his $3585 winner's purse after averaging a 100 mph
race and Speedy Thompson came in second.
FE Deer Hit at VIR 2009 SCCA Double National
A deer came from track-left and struck the left rear wheel. It was
decapitated and Its head went back to where it was coming from and the body
continued across the track.
