3M and Andrew Gamble demonstrate the different techniques used for applying different 3M wrapping films into different types of recess. Going through the process steps taken, from cleaning to applying to post heating. The video looks to inform vehicle wrappers, applicators and the market on the characteristics of 3M films and where they should be used and how. The video also demonstrates some unique adhesive features which make the films a dream to apply. 3M™ Controltac™ adhesive is a unique pressure activated adhesive technology that allows for the ultimate repositionability, making application easier and faster. This patented technology features microscopic glass beads which hold the adhesive away from the substrate until firm pressure is applied to activate the adhesive.
