Honda's subcompact has been completely redesigned for the 2015 model year bringing a new engine, transmission, interior and infotainment to one of the best values in the segment. Up front the Fit's new nose is better integrated with the rest of the Honda family and out back the LED tail lamps and broad "hips" are reminiscent of the Volvo C30. The new 1.5L EarthDreams four cylinder engine and a Continuously Variable Transmission team up to deliver fuel economy that rivals most hybrids and acceleration times near the top of the pack. Overall the Fit is one of the best cars I have driven this year and one of the best values as well. If the Versa Note, Sonic, Fiesta or Rio5 are on your shopping list, you'd do well to check out the Fit before making any decisions.

Crash Test Global Ncap India: Hyundai i10, VW Polo, Tata Nano, Ford Figo - 0 Stars
The first-ever independent crash tests of some of India's popular and important small cars have shown a high-risk of life threatening injuries in road crashes. All the cars selected by Global NCAP for testing in a frontal impact at 64km/h received zero-star adult protection ratings. The models tested included India's best-selling car, the Suzuki-Maruti Alto 800. The Tata Nano, Ford Figo, Hyundai i10 and Volkswagen Polo also underwent the safety assessment. Combined sales of these five cars account for around 20% of all the new cars sold in India last year. Global NCAP chose the entry-level version of each model and as a result none were fitted with air bags as standard. The results highlight major differences in the structural integrity of the vehicles tested. Max Mosley, Chairman of Global NCAP, said: "India is now a major global market and production centre for small cars, so it's worrying to see levels of safety that are 20 years behind the five-star standards now common in Europe and North America. Poor structural integrity and the absence of airbags are putting the lives of Indian consumers at risk. They have a right to know how safe their vehicles are and to expect the same basic levels of safety as standard as customers in other part of the world." In the Suzuki-Maruti Alto 800, the Tata Nano and the Hyundai i10, the vehicle structures proved inadequate and collapsed to varying degrees, resulting in high risks of life-threatening injuries to the occupants. The extent of the structural weaknesses in these models were such that fitting airbags would not be effective in reducing the risk of serious injury. The Ford Figo and Volkswagen Polo had structures that remained stable -- and, therefore, with airbags fitted, protection for the driver and front passenger would be much improved. Coinciding with the Global NCAP tests, Volkswagen has decided to withdraw the non-airbag version of the Polo from sale in India. Because of this, Global NCAP agreed to a request from VW to assess a version of the Polo that has two airbags fitted as standard as from now. Other manufacturers had the same opportunity. The protection proved much better and this airbag-equipped model received a four-star rating for adult occupant protection. Consumers are encouraged to check which version of the Polo they buy. - See more at: http://www.globalncap.org/crash-tests-show-indias-cars-are-unsafe/#sthash.W EEJ0RJ8.dpuf ►THANKS for taking the time to visit, I hope you SUBSCRIBE and enjoy the upcoming videos! 2015 Honda Fit Test Drive and Review
brought to by https://edvoyleshonda.com When it first hit the streets in 2006, the Honda Fit spearheaded the subcompact movement. It shocked the world with its unique combination of head-turning looks, sporty performance and impressive cabin space. Today, a glut of fuel-saving subcompact cars have entered the automotive market, but the 2015 Honda Fit, Atlanta area still "remains the hands-down utility champ" over vehicles like the Ford Fiesta, Hyundai Accent, Chevrolet Sonic and Scion iQ, according to Edmunds.com. This year, the cutting-edge Fit once again offers a fresh take on the affordable subcompact car model, delivering even more high-tech electronics, new styling on the Sport trim and several interior upgrades that Honda shoppers will love. Paradoxically, while the Fit is compact on the outside, it's surprisingly spacious on the inside. With a starting MSRP of $15,425**, the 2015 Honda Fit offers a huge amount of value in an ultra-affordable compact size. This sporty, fun to drive small car was a Car and Driver's "10 Best Cars" list inductee for 2011, making it an all-around great vehicle with excellent features and amenities. Winner in U.S. News "Best Cars for Families"; under the Subcompact Car/Hatchback.
