2016 Cadillac CTS-V: Just How Good Is The Cadillac With The Corvette Engine? - Ignition Ep. 141

On this episode of Ignition presented by Tire Rack (http://www.tirerack.com), racing pro Randy Pobst gets his mitts on the brand new, third-generation Cadillac CTS-V. When the second-generation CTS-V came out with 556 horsepower, people could hardly believe it. Today, one model newer, and Cadillac has raised the horsepower bar again by grafting in the supercharged, 6.2-liter LT4 V-8 straight outta Big Nasty, aka the Corvette Z06. Power is down compared to the Z06, though only fractionally. Instead of 650 horsepower the Caddy makes 640 hp. The CTS-V also shares the big dog Corvette’s tires, shocks, eDiff, and transmission. So how good is this sinister 4-door? How big is Randy’s grin? And why does Jonny Lieberman suddenly show up halfway through the episode? There’s only one way to find out! 2017 Cadillac CTS-V – Redline: Review
Using the same supercharged 6.2L LT4 monster from the Corvette ZO6, Cadillac brings an assault rifle to the super sedan horsepower war typically dominated by German offerings. If you're bent on not buying something European, this all American 2017 CTS-V fits the bill quite nicely.

2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1: Meet the Supercar Destroying Camaro! - Ignition Ep. 168
On this episode of Ignition presented by Tire Rack (http://www.tirerack.com), MOTOR TREND’s Senior Features Editor Jonny Lieberman sets out to discover just what makes the new Camaro ZL1 tick -- tick like a bomb, that is. The new ZL1 is the most powerful production Camaro ever. With 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque, the ZL1 sports more grunt than most supercars. But is it any good in a straight line? What about around corners? Or on a Willow Springs’ big track in the hands of pro racer Randy Pobst? And just how many sets of rear tires will Chevrolet give him? There’s only one way to find out! In this episode of Head 2 Head presented by Tire Rack (http://www.tirerack.com). The BMW M3 has long reigned as the king of the sports sedan segment. However, two new challengers have arisen: the Cadillac ATS-V and the Mercedes-AMG C63 S. The Cadillac was honed on the Nürburgring, and with its twin-turbo V6, packs 40 more horsepower than the M3. The mighty AMG, on the other hand, is based on the brand new C-class platform and sports a 503 horsepower twin-turbo V8. Does either challenger have what it takes to steal the belt from the M3? 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat: The Most Powerful Sedan In The World! - Ignition Ep. 122
On this episode of Ignition, presented by Tire Rack (http://www.tirerack.com), Carlos Lago tests the most powerful sedan money can buy: The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. Much like the Challenger Hellcat, this Charger packs an astonishing 707 hp from its supercharged 6.2-liter V-8. It is as absurd as it is functional, thanks to its two additional doors and comfortable backseat. But to find out if this sedan can do more than leave two long stripes of burnt tire for miles, we’ll need to run it through our standard set of tests, including a Hot Lap with Randy Pobst. Does the Charger Hellcat offer the same magic that we loved in the Challenger?
