2014 Infiniti Q50 HEV - Intelligent Key® and Locking Functions (HEV)
Without removing the Intelligent Key from your pocket or purse, you can lock or unlock your doors, open the trunk and start the engine. The driver's and front passenger's doors are equipped with a one touch sensor that allows for easy unlocking of the vehicle. To unlock the driver's or front passenger's door, have the Intelligent Key with you then pull the door handle to open the door. The other doors will remain locked. To unlock the other doors, press the request switch on either the driver's or front passenger's door within one minute of using the one touch sensor. The one touch sensor does not operate for two seconds after the vehicle has been locked. If this occurs, release the handle and then hold it again to unlock the door. To lock your vehicle, push any door handle's request switch once, after all doors have been closed. To enable or disable the one touch sensor function: • Press the MENU button on the control panel, • Touch SETTINGS, • Touch VEHICLE, then • Touch the TOUCH SENSITIVE DOOR SENSOR key. The one touch sensor function is active when the indicator light on the screen is illuminated. When this function is not active, the driver's door must be unlocked by pressing the door handle request switch while carrying the Intelligent Key with you. Press the door handle request switch again within one minute to unlock all doors and the trunk. The Intelligent Key has lockout protection in the event you accidentally lock your key inside the vehicle. If you exit with the Intelligent Key inside the vehicle and then lock and close the door, a warning chime will sound and the door will unlock automatically. These lock and unlock functions are operational when the Intelligent Key is within about 2 1⁄2 feet of a request switch. To activate the panic alarm, press this button for more than one second. The panic alarm will sound and the headlights will stay on for a period of time. The Intelligent Key can also be used to operate door locks, windows and the moonroof from outside the vehicle, at a distance of up to 33 feet. To lock doors, press the LOCK button. Your hazard warning lights will flash twice, your horn will beep once, and you'll know that all doors are locked. To unlock the doors, press the UNLOCK button. The hazard warning lights will flash once and the driver's door and fuel-filler door will unlock. Press again within one minute to unlock all doors and the trunk. All doors will automatically relock within one minute unless you push the ignition switch or open any door. Hold the UNLOCK button for more than 3 seconds after the doors are unlocked to lower the automatic windows and open the moonroof. In a rare instance when your Intelligent Key battery is discharged, you can still use the Mechanical Key to lock or unlock the vehicle. 2014 Infiniti Q50 Hybrid Sport AWD custom - In 3 minutes you'll be an expert on this Q50 hybrid
2014 Infiniti Q50 Hybrid Sport AWD custom - In 3 minutes you'll be an expert on the Q50 Hybrid Check out our website www.HondaofSeattle.com This month we're plugging a funny video about the Infiniti IPL and the fact that our salesman was completely misinformed about why it is called the IPL, discovering only in the end that he has completely embarrassed himself. Take a peek if you have an extra couple of minutes. http://youtu.be/PJE1Id3n61o Hi, this is Joe Tunney at Honda of Seattle bringing to you a comprehensive catalogue of hundreds of great vehicles from throughout the automobile industry. Although we specialize in Acura, BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, sports cars, SUV's and of course our beloved Infiniti product line, we also like to carry and review exotic cars from time to time like Ferrari, Dodge Viper, turbocharged all-wheel-drive cars like Mitsubishi Evo and Subaru WRX, as well as affordable vehicles that fit into every budget. For 2014 we are going to make a point of reviewing everything we carry, demonstrating for you the interior and exterior features and condition, the wheels and tires, trunk space, as well as an overview of power, technology, economy and driving characteristics to give you factual information as well as information unique to this particular vehicle so that you can enjoy a more intelligent shopping experience without ever having to step onto the lot. A little about me. I have been the manager at Infiniti of Kirkland since 2004 and prior to that I ran a high end car boutique in neighboring Bellevue, Washington. For my career I have sold over 10,000 cars so I hope to bring you far more insight than you might ever know to even ask. I show you in some videos how to see if a car has been in an accident, how to make a great buy on a car with a bad Carfax, or why I wouldn't personally buy a car even if it has favorable reviews. Every once in a while I'll even have a little fun to keep the videos fresh but I want to make certain you know that you can always email me at joet@infinitiofkirkland.com if you ever have any questions or feel I have made a mistake or used poor judgment or poor taste. I am truly thankful for the hundreds of thousands of views and more importantly, perhaps much more importantly, I am honored to have been viewed in over 200 countries around the world. We all are ambassadors for the things we believe in regardless of where we were born and from my little corner of the world here outside of Seattle, Washington I want to express my sincere gratitude for you having invited me into your home, your place of work, or for simply taking a minute of your valuable time to listen to what I have to say. Maybe we will never meet face to face, but I am forever in your debt for giving me the opportunity to share with you the things I have learned.
