I'm not a certified mechanic but I managed to pull this duramax apart and put it back together. The good thing is everything works right! I am using PPE level 3 right now it really knocks you back in the seat. The shifts are really smooth and the truck seems less restrictive and more balanced. I have to be careful because my transmission is still stock.
Duramax Performance Upgrade-Phase 1-Removing Stock Parts HD
I got more parts to put on my duramax. The next day I will take the downpipe off, start removing the Exhaust manifold and replacing it with the BD. Then I will replace the fuel pressure regulator, delete the egr, replace the mouth piece, install new Intercooler pipes, install mbrp downpipe, hook up the gauges, and tune to ppe level 3.
Duramax Performance Parts Upgrade MBRP Exhaust S&B Cold Air Kit HD
My truck was in need of some performance parts. I bought a cold air intake, 4 inch Exhaust, Exhaust tip and filter wrap all under $600. The job was fairly simple I did the install by myself. My truck moves down the road faster than before.
I will be getting some gauges and a programmer very soon with more upgrades.
Duramax 4x4 Mud Test
I haven't really tested this truck in the mud, so I took it to the extreme! In the first clip the ground was some what muddy.

1,600 Horsepower Duramax Diesel Kit from PPE
